Don't take their phones, don't take their cars, don't touch anything there, especially the electronic gadgets! Don't make calls with their phones or even from a network mast around there! Otherwise them go trace una ooo. I think at the moment, they are reasonably confused as to the operational modus of this group and will drop baits to catch the careless fish.. |

CSTRR:Those in authority are VERY DUMB, they keep playing into Kanu/IPOB hands while the group keep outsmarting them. The moment ESN trained and armed its members under their noses without them knowing, was when they completely lost the initiative. This is a group that has been pushing for separation but incidentaly, they were also open for negotiations towards restructuring at some point. Instead of those in government to make their movement unpopular and unattractive by ushering in good governance, fair play and justice to all, they even made it worse by oppressing sections of the country more while killing members of IPOB at every slightest provocation. When fulani herdsmen killings spiked and the SW formed Amotekun and SE governors for whatever stupid reasons failed to form theirs, IPOB saw the vacuum as a golden opportunity to score massive points. They gathered a large number of volunteers, organized them, armed them and trained them without those in government being aware! Right now, ESN may be safeguarding the East against fulani herdsmen killings but at the same time, Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB group now have a guerilla army on standby! |

BastardWike:Did you spot the AK-47 rifle one of the ESN guys was carrying? these guys aren't playing...I'm even getting some classified info that some disgruntled Igbo ex-servicemen/soldiers who have seen action in the NE against Boko haram and have either left the army or were summarily dismissed from service are now swelling the ranks of the ESN. |

SlayerForever:Ohaneze just finished elections in the East of Nigeria, nothing like ESN, warfare is propaganda, they only exist on the internet? Kanu said ESN owns the bushes of Eastern Nigeria, Which makes me want to believe that their members don’t live in the towns like other responsible citizens?. So it is fighting herdsmen in the forest of Eastern Nigeria this clown intends to achieve the illusion of Biafra? Sorry for his disciplines the gates of hell awaits them. |

ESN is now like a tsetse fly perched on Nigeria's scrotum, try to kill it by force and you end up committing suicide. The Nigerian government need to be very careful now and avoid any clash with them. Guerilla movement by any fanatical group of people is hardly ever defeated, regardless of how strong or equipped your army is. Check history and you will see great armies who couldn't defeat ragtag guerilla movements. Japan was defeated by Chinese peasants despite having a superior army. A superpower like USA had to shamefully pull out of Vietnam with their tale in-between their legs after many years of fighting in the Vietcongs in the jungles. Another superpower like Russia was eventually humiliated by the Taliban and they had to give up and withdraw from Afghanistan. These are great armies that couldn't overcome determined guerilla warfare, now compare with Nigerian army that is already stretched, weary, demoralized and ill-equipped with very poor coordination, intelligence and logistics. ESN is now entrenched in our bushes, armed and fanatical. Do the NA have enough personnel to flood our bushes at the same time? Are they going to pull out those from the NE, NW and NC or even in the SS and send them to the bushes of SE? That's not feasible and it's the delima they're facing now. Okay, you send some in parts of Imo State today and those you're pursuing regroups in the bushes of Anambra or Abia, you chase them in Anambra only for them to regroup in Enugu or Ebonyi. Remember, they also have members in all the SS states and the circle continues. My happiness is that if sh!t eventually hits the fan because those in government decides to act foolishly, it would be happening in the bushes/rural areas with minimal collateral damages to lives, properties and our economy. Lastly, if it gets to the level of killing ESN members and they return the favour, it's all over because there won't be an end until a truce is reached by both sides which would be a referendum. The only option left for Nigerian government now is to make ESN unattractive to Igbos by institutionalizing justice, fairness and equity to all so that people will now see the movement as unnecessary, anything else will be akin to shooting themselves at the foot. |

SlayerForever:I don’t know. Pls tell us what’s going on. Nnamdi Kanu is a character you can’t dismiss and as much I disagree with lots of things about him, I must confess that I was impressed when I saw the ESN...however, I’m pessimistic about them. It’s not borne out of hatred, I’m just being a realist. Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB are not popular with the federal government and some Nigerians. He is loved, adored and at the same time despised by lots of Igbos. ESN won’t be a success without South East governors and politicians. You can disagree with me but that’s a reality. No matter the level of logistics and support from whoever, the ESN has faulty foundation. It will always be seen as a smokescreen for something sinister and security threat to Nigeria. You can’t compare it to Amotekun which operates in the south west and has the regional support of the stakeholders there. ESN will remain an underground outfit. They won’t operate freely and in the open. No security outfit will function like that for long. It isn’t just about funding, the psychological state of the personnel will come to bear. Some will abandon the outfit when they face challenges...mental breakdown...they will question Kanu and those who set this up. It happened in Obigbo. IPOB operated freely there but when Wike and some crack team of soldiers hit town, IPOB was powerless, some fled not out of cowardice but due to lack of support etc. Kanu advertising and mocking a few police men who abandoned their suv in a bush path is childish and not motivational at all. I didn’t expect that from him. That mockery will be counter productive and he won’t laugh last....except like I said if he has got and equipped half a million crack team of suicide squad who will face whatever comes their way because it definitely will come. |

BastardWike:Your analysis is exactly what i saw the day he unveiled ESN. MNK is following the Zionist playbook(those who know about the history of the state of Israel would see the similarities) and has set up his version of the defence(Hagana in hebrew), and the fact that it is armed to the teeth and made up of well trained volunteers makes it uncanny. All these little victories is shoring up the morale of its members... But I'm sure that MNK is waiting for an opportunity to unleash guerilla war on the already overstretched Nigerian military. The future for Nigeria has never been as bad as it is now |

KosiGee:The massage Kanu want to pass is different from what you understood. The massage is to let the world know that nigeria police is looking for trouble by attacking them,so that when they retaliate by defending themselves,no one will blame them. First they showed video and pictures of nigeria army look for them. |

Tranquillity360:I wish Nnamdi Kanu and ESN well. All we ask for is a peaceful and secure south east region. I hope they tackle and deal decisively with bandits and kidnappers camouflaging as herdsmen and also I pray they tackle the many security challenges which south east faces. ...Finally May they not turn to be the proverbial pet python that strangled its owner. I hope they don’t end up as the Bakassi Boys. |
