Operatives attached to the Ebrumede Police Division in Warri were reportedly involved in an accident that took the lives of an innocent woman and her baby.

According to reports from eyewitnesses, the policemen were pursuing suspected yahoo boys when they hit the running keke conveying the woman and child that died on the spot.

An angry mob that gathered set the police hilux on fire with intensified call to the new Delta State Police Commissioner to do something about the incident.

Mob on the loose. Something must be done by the CP and Area Commander Warri immediately to save the situation.
