Evening all to all nairalanders!

Have been contemplating about this issue since when it has happened... Actually, I don't know whether what I actually did is good or bad but would like to know about you guys opinion on the matter.

And please don't mind my grammatical blunders, English language isn't my local language.. grin grin grin

I'm working at a cafe shop and our boss employed both the guy and I. We are staying inside the same room in which the house was been rented by our boss. We do get along with each other and we know how to understand each other without any form of fight.

Last week Friday, the guy borrowed money from me and has promised to return back the money to me when we get back home in which he's a type of person that forget things so easily and very fast. I gave him the money to buy the stuffs he wanted to buy and was expecting him to give me back the money when we get home. But to my surprise, he forgot and I kept mute so that it won't be like I like money too much.

I'm a type of person that saves money because I have a reason working at the cafe and I save my earnings daily without spending it on unnecessarily things.

The guy refused to give me the money later that day and i asked him about it againjl jokingly later after the day but he kept on saying he'll give me and I smiled at him.

It was yesterday evening after we came home and I decided to take the money from his trouser when he was fast asleep. He didn't know I take any money from his trouser till now. He didn't even know that he lost any money and he didn't even mention about repaying me back. Whenever he remembers, he will still say I'll give you back when we get home.

That was an act of stealing but I felt what I did was right in which I took the exact amount he owed me from him back. kiss kiss

Guys, what I did was right or wrong? And assuming you're the one in my shoe, what would you have done?

Please justify my act!

Stealing is stealing, no matter how you choose to sugarcoat it. What you will do to be at rest with your conscience is to tell him that he is not owing you anymore. If he asks how (which I know he will), tell him you have taken the exact amount he borrowed from your pocket since he has refused to willingly payback. Also, use that opportunity to tell him about his flaws and how he must ensure he works on the forgetfulness thing.

I Perceive your Conscience is Pricking you and that's why you put it out here.

Tell Him you took so so amount from his Trouser.
Clear your Conscience.
There is nothing as good as a Clear Conscience
