Eyah, so sad, she didn't take action in good time.

This is pathetic,i really feel for her,may God console her all d time and be her strength.money money money.

Take to a man of God...there is no sad story here...God is still in the business of healing... You can bring her to me to pray for her and lay my hands on her eyes...or any Child of God around your vicinity... Jesus Christ will have mercy

I wish she could have sourced for money to travel out once she found out its retina displacement. These half-baked doctors in Nigeria can't do shit about something like that.

This is a blatant lie... As much as I feel sorry for her, she did not act fast.. Retina detachment cannot be left for so long untreated.. There are very few Vitroretina surgeons in Nigeria and Eye Foundation Hospital has three solid surgeons in that field.. The advice given to her at the general hospital would have saved her sight if she has listened. We should learn to stop downgrading our Doctors... The surgeons are super good.

See how someone will roam the whole Nigeria looking for hospital with that have facilities to no avail, it's really pathetic

Its a guy she offended that did that to her. She looks like someone who can break someones heart easily

Who did we offend in this country? Nothing is working. Now she has lost her sight cause of inadequate facilities

Sadly when they say we cannot so it go to eye foundation or uch ibadan, the average nigerian thinks they want to make money off you due to the cost.

If you hear retinal detachment as a diagnosis, ultrasound scan would be done and it would be written there. If you cannot treat it within 2 to 3 weeks you have lost the eye.

Any other thing would be anything you see take it.

Sad due to pay out of pocket wahala.

Nawa o, the thing do am like film trick....it's quite unfortunate, I believe we are getting to an era when artificial eyes that can be connected to the optic nerve, would be rampant... hopefully then , life would be better for the visually impaired..

An old practice of "tooth in the eye" has proven effective to restore eyesight. Yes, a tooth is placed in the eye and then a fabricated lens is kept inside the tooth. Already a hole has been bored into the tooth to accommodate the lens , afterwards, the tooth is placed inside the eye and sewn close. This is done so the eye recognizes the the tooth as parts of its body and wouldn't fight it . Also, tissues would have grown around the tooth in the eye.

Afterward the proper surgery is done to black the lens properly in the eye

Having a serious health problem in Nigeria is a death sentence! Most Nigerian hospitals are useless and dangerous! They have incompetent doctors and nurses!

and some ppl will be saying nigeria is the best place to live on earth

if it was in another country they would have treated her before her condition got this worse.

This blindness should've happen to buhari instead of this vibrant young lady... But I see the handiwork of village people here... Losing one sight is a very big agony which can drive one to suicide, my cousin had similar problem, she hardly see with her two eyes for close to 5yrs even if u are 2 meters away she can't recognize ur face, her case was 90% blind, everything was whitish and blurring .. she booked appointment for operation at Calabar for one eyes 150k with other medicine she will buy by herself , but luckily for her she went home to visit her parents and drop her kids for them to look after them while she went for the operation, that night she came , they were annoying of free eyes medical treatment which she went the following day they booked her for the operation and after some days they operate on both eyes, the doctor that did the magic is a Reverend sister but she schooled in US, everything was free both the drugs and eyeglasses, one young rich philanthropy was the one footing the bills of everyone that came there, they said for her to see again is 50/50 but luckily for her after the Cotton was removed the following day, her vision was restored back and she could see the faces of her kids for the first time after giving birth to them... This is miracle... I declare this lady to have her sight back in the name of the father , son and holy spirit Amen

Retinal detachment? Can this be re attached? The surgeon in the house can shed more light to this. My point is that we have seen foreign doctors do the impossible. Her case might not have worsen if we had good medical facilities and doctors in Nigeria. I have never for once thought the tooth in the eye can be possible. Imagine a man made ordinary glass lens placed in the eye that becomes an eye to the body.
