In hindsight, the biggest goof in this Lampard saga is his hiring in the first place. The board fvck up both in hit hiring and in his sacking.

Seriously, you are hiring someone with zero top flight experience to lead a club like Chelsea, and you don't expect hiccups along the way? Why hire him in the first place is you can't bear the consequences that could follow? Na by to spend £200m? Football na maths?

If you're hiring such an inexperienced coach, you should be prepares for the bumpy ride that follows, whether you spend £200m or not. And if you're not ready for such a run, then don't hire him in the first place.
