It is a sad development.
I knew Lampard have a lot to learn when we Hired him and sounded the alarm before he was hired him but I was fully onboard when he was handed over the reigns. If the board were not going to back him through thick and thin to see out the project why hire him in the first place? To pacify the fans or warm up to media?
The results have been underwhelming putting everything into perspective but the coach is not at fault for majority of the lackluster performances, from players committing silly mistakes to lack of energy in key moments.
On the Tuchel appointment, he is a fantastic student of the game whom I rank alongside Pep, Sarri, Bielsa, Klopp, Conte when it comes to positional play and attacking with purpose but he is a combustible character when he doesn't get what he wants. For him to succeed he need to unite the players as the dressing room will be divided at present, the season is still salvageable especially with FA and a top four finish within sight. I hope he gives Gilmour and CHO a good run of games with Havertz playing centrally.

Football is judged by number of outcomes no doubt but sometimes processes should be looked at first instead of outcomes. If you are not going to back a rookie don't hire the rookie.
I didn't say he's not blameless but will you blame him for Werner's near misses? Havertz poor games due to bad physical condition? James poor positioning? Jorginho lack of legs? Kovacic poor decision making in the final third? Rudiger's poor defending? And Kante's rapid decline?

Fat Frankie the Super Legend selected all those guys making those continuous errors.

This thread had its fair portion of drama but if you think you have seen it all, wake up and smell the coffee, the show has just begun...

I expect majority who were supportive of Super Frank to critique every decision of Tuchel or whoever is appointed to replace Lampard and those who were critical of Frank and outrightly wanted him gone to go defensive now...

Other side attraction to watch out for is the Mount vs Havertz debate...If Mount still outperforms Havertz and is picked ahead of the German, some folks will deactivate but if Havertz outperforms Mount then Iamj will see to the deactivation of certain monikers...

The drama will get more interesting if Mount outperforms Havertz yet Tuchel sticks with Havertz...Whatever the outcome, this thread will be the best place to be during match days as you wouldn't want to be greeted to hidden post...
