Truth be told... I actually blame the citizens of Abuja for this escalation of insecurity. Something that could and should have been nipped in the bud was allowed to fester and grow... As for the leaders, there is no leadership in Nigeria as of today!!! I don't know how else to say this... It just can't be overemphasized. Communities need to wake up and take their security into their own hands... Sit down look na dog name o!!! |

post=98480348:You are just blowing grammar which will not take us anywhere. We like to play ostrich with serious issues. Whether we like to admit it or not, the root cause of the present level of insecurity is the deliberate indifference of the security agencies to acts of lawlessness perpetrated by people from certain ethnic groups, religious or cultural background. This slowly morphed into a culture of impunity which bred the monsters who are now out of control! 4 Likes 1 Share |

post=98480348: D summary of what u have said is that buhari failed to do his job as president and commander-in-chief and as dictated by section 14(2b) of d constitution. Just look at how ridiculous ur number 1 point is. "encourage the nigerian government to...". How do u "encourage" d govt? Who is going to do d encouragement? Is it d same citizens that are brutalised and deprived by d govt that u want to encourage d govt or is it d UN that should encourage d govt? U clearly saying that d govt led by buhari have no idea about what to do despite buhari being a retired major general. Every other point u made are in d same vein an indictment on buhari and his administration |

Oizatobad: The northerners are swelling the population of Nigeria with their unchecked birth control. When they have produced so many children these children becomes beggars on the streets and some are recruited to Boko haram. illiteracy and blind adherence to islamic religion is their problem in the north. They misinterpret the Holy Koran upside down. The Holy Koran did not say they should produced children that will become beggars but you see the northerners doing it. 2 Likes |

[quote author=COMPAQ post=98480681] What shocks me most in this country is how you hear militants, terrorists, herdsmen and whatever operate in an hour for 3 to 5 hours!! For goodness sake, that is enough time to fly 50 commandos by chopper to anywhere in Nigeria from Abuja. Is our security response so useless? How can Boko Haram be attacking an army base for 5 hours and no help comes? It makes no sense. In that time, the I should be able to get an attack helicopter from the nearest NAF base to provide vital air support with superior weaponry to swing the battle back in Army's favour, even if they were indeed out numbered initially. Better still, but there should be drones in the air 24/7 armed with air to surface missiles to provide cover. Modern military drones can stay in the air for 24 to 36 hours, so just 2 or 4 is okay for round t ]The nigeria armed forces are not interested in protecting and defending the homeland; They are currently being used as a tool for elite/ethnic oppression |

Who kidnaps orphans from an orphanage? This is a sign of a failed State if there is no Govt response to this matter. Where is our outrage? The perpetrators of this act must be found and brought to justice. |

The true colour of Abuja is beginning to show. those who say it is safer than Lagos can now see. How on earth do you think it will be better, there truly is no job in the place while everyone has this fake idea that the place is where all the money in Nigeria is. I am not surprised when someone here said all the man holes have been stolen away. That sounds like what happened to Lagos roads, especially the roads in Apapa, Ijora, Iddo, Costain, Oshodi, Mile 2, etc. |
