Our Constitution is stupid and messed up. The Governor is the chief security officer of the state but the army can operate in his territory without his knowledge or consent . We copied our system of government but did not copy it well and left out aspects that achieve local accountability and balance of power. In the model we copied from, the police is under local and state government and troops cannot be deployed without a request from the governor.

I am not a fan of Nnamdi Kanu or his IPOB but on this occasion I support them and pray for their success.
