67,000 is a lot of people. Kericho town has 27,000 residence - and has 10-15 floor buildings. Your slumpolis are crammed. Most kenya towns are not even 60,000.

Your towns and cities just lack the infrastructure to host that many population...that is why they are slumpolis.

Now show us Akosombo dam

Kenya has been farming for 200 years now and it is still importing food to the tune of 20 billion dollars a year.

Ghanaians are creating their own businesses around the boom in the residential real estate industry, tRADING AND DISTRIBUTION businesses making it hard for the Indians and Chinese to even grab a market share.

When Ghanaians decide to farm, it is centered around the growing number of Agro-processing factories which are making sure that the hard work of farmers dont go to waste.

Not good. That is why the slums are increasing in South Africa. China is at 60% - and is twice more developed than South Africa - with GDP per capita of 10K usd. China is a cusp of becoming a developed country (12K usd is entry level) and yet millions are still living in rural areas.

There is big difference btwn Urbanization and Slumization.

Countries should build commensurate infrastructure in urban areas or discourage rural-urban migration.

Otherwise you'll end up like West Africa - huge slumpolis - rusted after rusted iron roof - without any formal economy.

Look at the taxes collected - nothing - because everyone is living hand to mouth in those cities - hawking and selling stuff in small shops.
