The road have been dualized since 2003.

Look at the quality of camera they claim is 2020.

There's also the small issue that the roads are way more busy today than those 1970s.
Don't mind them.
The road Is truly busy today than before which I can't see it on the pics they claim is 2020

This is a downward spiral. Sad. Maybe our independence came too cheaply and early. Imagine having a city 45 years ago but a glorified ghetto today.
Well IB went down after the cancellation of regional govt buh it is getting better again now. The old metros still stands because the city never experienced war. This doesn't mean there are no modern districts in IB. People just mostly focus on the old metros which are now mostly slums. Dugbe CBD is an example, most of the buildings there are 70's building, many are bn refurbished with few mordern buildings. I just pity ignorant folks sha.

How people believe a place will be more busy in 1978 when the population of ibadan was about 200k to 2020 when the population is close to 4 million people truly surprises me.

Honestly i just didn't wanna waste my time on this particular thread. Just tryna educate them about IB in general bro. Tired of their ignorance. Unnecessarily dragging IB cuz of their ignorance is nauseating and annoying.

I am also tired.

There are places in ibadan that were thick forest just over 15 to 20 years ago that are now fully developed areas.

Elebu/Kuola, Ologunerun, Wire cable and some parts of Apata amongst others.

All these whitewashing of our glorified states or nation does not hide the fact that Nigeria is a retrogressive nation that has failed to develop since independence
