Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN) has advised evicted herdsmen in Oyo State to head to court for redress.

While maintaining that popular Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho, had no right to issue a vacation notice to herders in the Ibarapa Local Government Area of Oyo State, Falana explained that it is within the right of everyone in the country, including the herders to live legally in any parts of the country.

Herdsmen don't know the law court, reason they kill on a slight provocation.

What's the interpretation of "living legally everywhere you want in Nigeria" ?

I want to live in Aso Rock hence I will be heading to Court next week to get a legal injunction to be allowed to occupy one mansion in Presidential villa.

Living legally doesn't mean occupying a property or space you got no right to. Who gave the herdsmen legal CofO to occupy farmlands, forests and graze in open school fields?
