Oshoala scores brace as Barca beat Real Madrid in El Classico.

Asisat Oshoala scored a brace as Barcelona beat Real Madrid 4-1 in the first El Classico to be played at the Johan Cruyff Stadium.

Barca were on the attack from the beginning of the game and Alexia gave them the lead via an absolutely wicked shot in the 14th minute. The Real Madrid keeper got a hand to it, but she only succeeded in [color=#000000]Login and Register[/color] helping the ball into the net because the shot was to powerful.

Jenni Hermoso extended the lead in the 17th minute off a rebound from a shot by Oshoala and then, in the 37th minute, deadly Norwegian winger, Caroline Graham Hansen ran at full speed down the right, while Oshoala was running down the center. CGH centered the ball and Oshoala knocked it into the net. It was a thing of beauty.

There was confusion in the Madrid box in the 70th minute with the ball bouncing back and forth between players and Oshoala was perfectly positioned to profit off the error and give Barca its 4th goal.

Oshoala was bearing down on goal just 2 minutes later and the Real Madrid keeper, Misa, came out of her area to stop her. Oshoala played a shot and the Madrid keeper parried it, but she was out of her area and so she was shown a red card and sent off.

However, Barcelona was also reduced to 10 women in the 79th minute when Mapi Leon was shown a second yellow card for bringing down a Madrid attacker. Olga scored from the resulting penalty kick to bring the scores to 4-1 in the 81st minute.

Oshoala asked to be subbed off in the 88th minute and most Nigeria and Barca fans would hope that she didn't get a serious injury.

This is Oshoala's second brace in as many games. She also scored 2 goals in Barcelona's last match against Rayo Vallecano.
