Yemi Alade, Nigerian Afropop singer and songwriter, has revealed how she accidentally ignored the email of American singer Beyonce for two months.



In an exclusive interview with OloriSuperGal, the sensational singer revealed this and spoke about other issues concerning her music craft.

Note that one of the African artists featured in Beyonce’s “Black Is King” visual album, was Yemi Alade, a sequel to the 2019 “Lion King: The Gift” album.

Speaking in the interview, Yemi said for nearly two months that she ignored “Queen Bey” because her management thought it was a scam.

“We thought it was a scam email… I wasn’t the one receiving the emails, my management was and the thing is that, you have to be a crazy beyond fan like me to know her company’s name is “Parkwood”, So you’re getting emails from “Parkwood” about a collaboration with Beyoncé?!… My manager was telling me that he keeps getting these messages from Parkwood. He sounded very irritated and he was thinking of maybe blocking the email… and I asked him what did you say? Did you say “Parkwood?” I said (screams) that is Beyoncé!!!!…” she said.
