Seal your own lips, as for me, I will not seal mine. You are the one that thinks like an idiot. You are in a mess, not Nigeria.

You make more sense when your lips stops moving. I don't understand why we Nigerians think like idiots. Nigeria is Nigeria with its poor urban planning peculiar to all states. Google the top 20 cleanest cities in Africa. No city in the country makes the cut. So why not close your mouth and accept we are in a deep mess together. Whichever state you come from isn't heaven.

A glass of chilled beer 4 you my bro. We are in a very deep mess..but these online defenders of mediocrity will never see d mess our politicians have plunged us into.
Every tom dick and harry is praising mediocrity because they've been placed on a monthly salary in exchange for their common sense.

When one governor comes and builds a flyover...they hail like theres no tomorrow. Fgs! These things are basic infrastuctures. A small London without city water pipes running through houses, without good standard roads...lacking heavily in urban planning. Markets like where animals are...no proper planning no organisation. Go 2 mini cities and see how state capitals, urban areas are planned...go to Calabar,go to Kaduna. Go and see their roads, markets etc.

But in all these no city is still worth tagging a 'city' in Nigeria. Even d so called Abuja.

Keep lying to ur delusional selves that u have a mini 'lawn-dawn' grin

Awka is small London my foot!

Lol Stop crying, yes Awka is London compare to your shithole state capital. I have told you the bitter truth. Awka is like London compare to your glorified village state capital. No amount of crying will change the fact that your state capital is a village littered with filth, bad roads, tattered roads, rustic brown roofs, dilapidated buildings, village disgusting apian ways, etc. Also your state capital is disorganized, disjointed, unplanned, red mud everywhere. Your state capital is a rural area. Ordinary Nnewi is more developed than your shithole state capital, not to talk of advanced Awka or Onitsha. Cry your heart out. cheesy

Folks we just finished covering Anambra international Cargo airport, Airport road and ICC with drone, the video will be out tomorrow by God's grace, I most commend governor Obiano for trying so hard to pull these through, workers were even working today Sunday, the project is massive you can't even see end of the runway from where we were standing, fog couldn't allow us to get clear view, dry season is worst period to fly drone, we overstretched the drone when we were trying to get the full coverage because of security men but we couldn't, the drone didn't reach the tower we had to return the drone, from what we saw the project is massive. Watch out for the video

See this pained envious one yapping rubbish. Awka is the best and fastest developing city in Nigeria aside Abuja. Adorned with beautiful roads, beautiful flyovers, beautiful people, beautiful scenery, etc. Onitsha is our economic capital and economic hub of SE while Awka is our administrative capital, Nnewi is the technological and innovative capital. Anambra has the best and biggest markets in igbo land and beyond. Anambra is the best, most developed and most important state east of the Niger. Deal with it.

Looks promising! Any render of the project so we can see what the finished product will look like?

I can't stress enough how important it is to take seriously the landscaping of the surrounding land. This should be done by a world-class landscaper and should also include the drive/approach road to the conference centre. If the layout and design is already drawn up, then they should start planting trees now and not leave it till works on the main structure are completed!

Gov. Wille Obiano is truly a magician!!! How did he get the money for such world class project?
Obiano is finally bequeathing Anambra with one the best airports in West Africa!

Everything from the access roads, Main Airport gate, runway, taxiway, car parks, fire stations, Emergency medical clinics, 2 level terminal building, Water supply station, mini power station was well thought out!!! With more space for future expansion and development!

The official airport January 2021 Status Update video released by the state government! O'lboy, this is indeed a massive project. Everything is done at the best international standard!!!

Anambra finally has a true international airport to facilitate trade and commerce without depending on the whims and caprices of others!
I am hoping the begin planting trees, flowers and grass now around areas that no further construction is needed. Also they need beautiful trees and flowers along the main airport road all the way to the parking lots to give it the best ambiance possible!

Foundation for Gate House and airport entry and exit roads ongoing!

Obiano is undoubtedly one of the best governors in Nigeria today! Even the states with huge allocations in Nigeria or even so called federal government airports do not construct projects of such world class quality!

This is truly a spectacular expose! Now i know why Obiano was hiding the project! He wanted this precise shock and awe at the magnitude of this project when it's unveiled! The guy has left his prints in the sands of time! Even in the next 100 years, It is no longer ever going to be a question if Obiano was one of the greatest Anambra governors or not. He has totally proved himself! Imagine doing this in a recession!

I agree they should begin trees and flowers planting now. Infact they should create a landscaping team to start from the junction of the airport road by the Awka- Onitsha expressway all the way to inside the airport. Also, spaces around the taxiways, apron and runway should be grassed now. Even before marking of the places with paints begin.

If i were Buhari, i will rebuild the Awka - Enugu expressway as my contribution to this project.
In the future, some people may even confuse it that it was Buhari that built the entire airport and built the expressway!

I can only imagine how much land along this access road costs now!

Please Government should ensure the land is reserved for 5 star hotels, shopping malls, amusement parks and other tourist entertainment that will help boost other facilities around the airport.

There should be NO market or eyesore type of building along that brand new road.

Exactly! I am sure the state physical planning board will map out the specific types of buildings that will be allowed along that access road. It will be the first impression a visitor landing in the state will have. So every effort must be made to make every building along that main access road to be of the highest international standard.

I heard Air Peace will build its own maintenance hangar at the airport. I think they should be allowed some space at the end of the runway to begin foundation for their maintenance hangar if they are still interested.
