This why it is good to carryout proper research before policy formulation. Had it been the Agency carried out research, it would have enabled them to determine how many minutes it takes to register a person, how many persons a center can register in a day and how long will it take to register over 100 million subscribers based on available resources.
This would have given the policy makers idea on how to set a realistic deadline.

Just waking up and set 2 weeks deadline doesn't show the preparedness.
If them like make them do till next year, i go go when ever there isn't any much crowd or no crowd at all. Me suffer myself for 9ja is impossible.

Eventually they will extend it till the end of the year, then gradually don't mention anything about their being a deadline, but only insist that anyone getting a new SIM or replacing one must provide a NIN.

We all know naija pattern nah..... I was in ghana during BVN saga, I traveled all the way from Accra to fidelity bank alaba international market for my bvn enrollment cuz they said dead line is for dead people ..

Now wetin I get , after all that waste of transportation money and risk , they are still doing bvn till today ....

I will do my NIN by 2022 and the fed govt. will keep shifting dead line like goal post
problem now is that NIN is attached to everything, you need it to retrieve your sim, driver's license, international passport etc. Except you have more years, they have you by the balls

Not only spreading Covid19. They also used it to enrich themselves. Imagine each person paying 3-5k (depending) to get registered for something claimed to be free.

because you have clueless and irresponsible leaders. the new one is to borrow from dorman bank accounts. NASS approved it.

It's cluelessness in the first place.
Even all these collection and most importantly storage of these data by private agencies,is illegal and invasion of privacy.
But of course we are a backward people with backward leaders.

I see line blockage unable to stand, I see telecommunications companies not complying to the government's directive, I see them not being able to block dedicated customers cos it will mean a drastic drop in profit for them. I see this NIN issue dying off cos more than 60% of Nigerians wouldn't register.
