Buhari Extends IGP Adamu’s Tenure For 3-months by fergie001(mod): 4:18pm On Feb 04, 2021

President Muhammadu Buhari has extended the tenure of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mohammed Adamu by three months.

The Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi disclosed this on Thursday while briefing State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

He said that the decision of the President to extend the IGP’s tenure for another three months was to give time for proper selection of the new helmsman.

Buhari no get plan for this country at all. This guy’s notice of retirement was announced 3months ago.

Why is it taking another 3months to get a replacement?

Anybody expecting anything less is surely not truthful to himself, The most ranked AIG currently is from Bayelsa and and it will be more easier for a horse to pass through a needle hole than for buhari to appoint non Northerner as head of the police. This show of shame clearly violates the police act signed by buhari months ago.

If he is sincere to police department and to constitution, he should tell Buhari in plan language that his tenure is over. That he can't breach the same constitution that he claims to guide. After that he will pack his things are go.
