Well, Wenger was never gonna be there forever... He was bound to retire sooner than later, with the club transitioning. The end product would have been the same.

The issue is the failure of the governing board to invest fully in the growth of the playing squad like other top clubs have done across Europe.

Just look at the key players making up the current foundation of that club! Adding one or two top players won't make a damn difference! They need a complete overhaul: I am talking not less than half a Billion Euros in the today's hyper-inflated football market.
