They intentionally signed huge contracts with few contractors and all the contractions are going on slowly, some even stalled right after the election. Kumasi and Eastern Region are the worst affected.

Chinese are jealousy protecting their own wild life , while fuelling destruction of others .

If you want your country to destroy your local wild life which by the way is first your national heritage for few hundred millions , than its your decision to make .

Far more money can be made by protecting them and investing in eco tourism and sustainable ideas which generate income for locals.

Once you loose your national wildlife , even trillions of dollars will not get them back for you and the damage you will do to your national ecosystem will run into billions and will be irreversible .

I am no environmentalist nor wild life enthusiast , but I know where a line must be drawn .


Do you know the economic harsh reality of that Chinese curved piece of ivory you showed, for your country ?

u first need to understand the basic economics of production cycle from raw materials to finished product.

You will be killing / maiming your priceless elephants ( which only few countries in the world have ) and harvesting their tusks

Only countries like China , Taiwan etc ( majority of world countries have wild life product trade ban with heavy fines and imprisonment ) will buy them from u for the lowest minimum price possible ( raw materials always have the minimal price in a product cycle ) and since your raw materials have limited market , the money u will get will be even more low .

Then they will use it to make ivory products like the one u showed ( which u cannot make due to obvious reasons relating to National / cultural branding / affiliations / promotions etc , production scale , expertise etc ) and which they will sell for 1000s or more times higher price as Chinese Taiwanese authentic cultural art items and to increase the appeal advertise them as made by authentic Chinese and Taiwanese artists specialising in the same.

So who is the real looser and the real gainer in all these ? Penny wise pound foolish .

And frankly speaking end of the day your country , your wildlife , your decision . I am just giving my personal opinions on the issue.

Here are the only facts you ever need to know about hunting conservation :

In the 1980s South Africa's game population numbered around 600 000 head of game.... It was at this time South African authorities like Phasa really started promoting hunting,well long story short the game population grew to over 24 million in 2014 and is growing at over 20% per annum, the total number of game hunted every year equate to 0.01% of the population......

Also in the 80s Kenya had well over 10 000 000 head of game(more than any African country by far)...... Unfortunately they decided to follow the opposite route and banned all hunting activities...... Since then Kenya has lost over 85% of its game....

One can simply not argue the facts

Hundreds of project going on simultaneously accross the entire country.


These are new federal highways being undertaken by the federal government, they are different from the state government project.

Another South African supermarket was safely eliminated from the Kenyan Market by the mighty Naivas.

I just know that they are progressing at a very slow rate.
