Precisely why I call most of West Africa cities slumpolis - integrated slums - without any zoning or building code enforced.

Slum occupy 2% of Nairobi landmass (5% of the built up area). The slums are all ILLEGALLY built on road reserves, power line/sewage line reserves, forest, and rivers; they will be all demolished eventually.

For example recently - one such slum - that was sitting on sewage reserve land - was demolished

After slums - you get to Eastland kinda of low quality high rise apartments. Those ones are mostly approved - although a few were built without approval and do get demolished.

In Kenya you cannot just build without APPROVAL.

RSA is not at par with Egypt when it come to construction. Egypt is mega construction site - cement consumption at nearly 60M metric tonnes. That is more than 4 times South Africa (at 14-15m). South Africa is almost at kenya level - if you factor that South Africa is twice bigger than Kenya - and has 10m more people.

At least, in Accra, poor people live in better housing with access to quality infrastructure.


That gives them a better quality of Life that even the rich in kenya cant have.

Sensible countries have decided to move their poor people into their city proper, so they can have a better quality of life.

But as dumb as you are, you prefer segregation.

Even the richest and most developed countries have decided to integrate their poor people into well functioning neighbourhoods because studies have shown that, doing so reduces crime and provides better quality of living for poor people.

Here you are celebrating the segregation of poor people into crime infested slum of low lives.

You engage in what is called strawman arguments. Enact a straw man, attribute it to someone else and then go ahead to demolish it - and act like you're anything but obtuse.
