Tinubu and Akande don't know their worth in APC. Buhari's group in APC brought more than 12 million votes from the North while Tinubu mustered less than 3 million votes for APC from the entire South West. That's why North feel like they own not only APC as at today, but Nigeria. South fell into a wrong political calculation via Tinubu when in 2015, we went into political alliance with unequals. In 2023, APC can easily ditch Tinubu and the West and still win. That is the game plan. At least 2019 election clearly showed that APC almost lost Lagos and failed woefully in Tinubu's stronghold of South West and was perceived by the Northern elements in APC as a weakened politician. Therefore Tinubu and Akande can only talk while the Northern interest in APC do whatsoever that pleases them. It is the nature of the alliance Tinubu could purchase for the South

Tinubu is a master strategist in the game of politics & he will win all those scheming to undo him at the end.

Strategies only work when you strategies in an enabling environment. The late Tony Anenih was a master strategist until he fell out with some people. He still tried to hold on but eventually they lost the presidential election. And at the he had to retire from politics because at least he was wise enough to know that no political strategy could save his ass at that point.

Have asked yourself why tinubu refused to speak up against the atrocious killings by the fulanis? It's because he knows that speaking up will pitch him against the one he thinks has the power to put him in a spot were all his strategies will become totally useless.

It is crazy that southern Nigeria cannot come together and form a voting bloc.
The middle belt would join us if we did and that may finally rescue this country from mediocre leadership.

We can finally be able to push progressive policies like federalism, abolition of quota system, e.t.c

This is the fastest way to achieve regionalism or state federalism, bit it seems nobody can even see it.
It is like the South has been bewitched.

What is stopping the South from uniting?

Greed of a few men. Across the regions.

And they will keep becoming unequal partners with the North who are a collective.

When you hear arrogance from the north, it is because they know the South is divided.
They know they only need one.

The only Southern politician to keep the north where they belong was Azikiwe in the 60s.

And that was because he had widespread southern support.

After the coup, and Southern Nigeria became highly polarised with no overwhelming popular politician, the north took over and they have been doing it ever since.
