I have always said it that this government and its managers are completely clueless.

Imagine having a severe headache, the rest of the body cannot function properly.

Buhari is too old to manage a complex system like Nigeria, the CBN and many other government officials are out of touch with 2021 reality, they still think we are in 1993 or 2001.

Don't be surprised if the CBN makes a Uturn tomorrow, most investors will be worried about doing anything with Nigeria, they will rather go to South Africa, Kenya or even Ghana.

Look at how much Benin Republic earned from car impotation and rice.

We honestly have very dumb people managing our nation.

Where are smart leaders in their 30s and 40s, next election must be different

Your understanding of micro economics is very low or non existent. You are referring to Benin Republic as a model for Nigeria to follow by allowing importation of goods (rice) into the country; this alone shows you don't understand economics and the simple dynamics driving world economies.

This subject is obviously beyond you.

CBN laid out a well articulated case with facts. Lot of people ranting here don't even understand what cryptocurrency is all about. No one can offer a valid , tenable, deep thinking regarding it. All they did was to throw insults and jabs to Buhari and CBN.

For once, engage in an intellectual discussion with depth.

I don't need to educate you, go back and read what CBN stated and subject it to your grey matter, if you have any.

You are impossible to be tutored as your post has shown. Stop sounding hollow and disgracing your family in a cyber space.

You don't even understand to what extent importation can weaken your very own currency. Thanks for spotting the talent in me because all I see in you is sheer ignorance.

Baseless, inaccurate politically motivated assumption. They are talking like owners of cryptos are ghosts with no identities.

2ndly fraud occurs in all currencies, even in government and with naira fraud is happening everyday. Who have they investigated and caught using naira for fraud in government or elsewhere? undecided

CBN ust blabbing up and down. undecided

Pls don't be deceived as these people in power speak from 2 sides of their mouth.

They may have listed tangible reasons as to why they banned transactions in crypto

But get this:

1) CBN by it use of the word regulation means freezing your accounts when you are supporting a protest financially or to do something that challenges govt. By not doing certain things they the government want would mean closing ur account or restricting u financially.
They take away your financial independence which cryptpcurrency offers

2) The Alternative they are forcing us to abide is failing naira which only depreciates in your bank account
Compare a #10 naira fiat currency and a #10 naira in bitcoin, which has more appreciation value ?

3) They forgot to add among the financial system is their excessive bank charges monthly/annually, how about dollar restrictions but exemptions to piligrims and finally the worthless bank interests they give u on your money

4) Its not today that crime started, why haven't they banned the legal tender: Naira since it has been repeatedly used in fraud and kidnapping. Mind u some coins that were used for criminal activities can be traced

Some call it ponzi scheme, I call it liberty to an ever changing/advanced world and independently i wont play catch up.
Only those that lack understanding of what crypto is would call it ponzi or scam and am so sorry for u

They used corruption to destroy our economy which still happens today which has led us in being a consumption based economy, to roll out great policies and support youth startups then was war for them.

Now they want us all to grow in the backward pace of economy

A lot of people backing this sanction are the ruling class, not middle or lower class. They don't know where it pinches for a lot of persons. They havent stopped corruption which has put Nigeria in what it is today, a far greater evil
But to ban crypto; a financial innovation legal to the community that accepts it

See how the cornered the crime of fraud to youths just to blame crypto

Hmm I tire. Make we break up

I keep asking the above question too
Note: I trade crypto on Binance too.
