Governors don't care for their people that's why they pretend that they can't do anything to tackle herdsmen issue.but if the governors are serious to handle herdsmen issue,then they should do the following.

*Ban open grazing and set up a body to enforce it accross the state.
*set up a local Vigilantees outfit to arrest any tresspassing and law break Fulani herdsman(but the Vigilantees should be secretly armed with sophisticated guns e.g bolt action rifles assault rifles etc).
*Sue erring herdsmen to court and let them pay damages charges for any farmland destroyed.
*Set up a secretly heavily armed millitia equipped with machine guns,RPGs,sniper rifles ak 47s etc to engage and eliminate any attacking fulani Herdsmen that want to unleash terror and massacre communities.



If governors can do these fulani Herdsmen will behave and compose, themselves.

There seems to be a general fear amongst the governors.

Governors who swore to uphold the Constitution by engaging state's resources to safeguard lives and properties seems helpless when these challenges present themselves.

We begin to wonder why?
1. Policing is controlled centrally, hence the CPs cannot act without taking orders from Abuja.
2. Many governors don't want to offend the president because their next move, ambitions depends on support from Abuja
3. Brave governors like the Benue has been ostracized because of the ban on open grazing.
4. The president is the grand patron of the Fulani herdsmen umbrella association.

It's a sour situation! Only the brave can withstand the storm bro
