Why didn't he leave on loan when Koeman told him at the start of the season that he might not get a lot of playing time? Koeman was very honest with him from the very start. He chose to stay to fight for a role, which he hasn't managed yet.

I don't understand how you can turn around to blame the coach for being honest with him. Only person to be blamed here is the player. He gambled by staying and it hasn't paid off yet. It is Puig decision to remain in the team instead of going elsewhere to get more playing time and then come back as a much better player. But he chose to stay and blackmail the coach with the press.

Please Let's not get this story twisted.

Same way barce fans expect firpo to play like prime Cafu each time albad gets injured/suspended, when these foolish coaches barce has had since he signed for barce barely gives him playing time. Firpo will leave at the end of this season for sure, and I wish him all best, but who ever barce is buying to replace him should be given a good number of playing time.

As for puig, he’s just unfortunate that koeman is the coach of barce, if barce had Enrique/pep, dude would have hit the ground running. Even after promising to utilise the youthful talents in the club, one would point out the fact that it’s only due to injuries/lack of funds that made him give them playing time.

Clownman has nothing to offer barce, who ever is being elected as the president should sack him as soon as this season ends
