In the first place hijacking the Lekki Toll gate was wrong and unfair, since that place had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with SARS. If those ariya protesters were serious about ending SARS they would have taken the fight to the National Assembly or Aso rock since the command and control of SARS lies squarely with the FG.
The second problem; those ariya protesters wanted an open ended protest with no end date in sight, no clearly articulated objectives with realistic deadlines, and no indentifiable persons with who government could dialogue with. It was a poorly organized protest that left the state government with a trillion naira tab, not to talk of senseless loss of lives.

It is within the prerogative of LASG & the LCC concessionaires to re-open the toll gate, and any persons with insurrectionist agenda should be arrested and prosecuted, the government is not wrong on this one - FULLY SUPPORTED!
