60Km trek/race to join the army is so sickening.
Is bokoharam killing our comrades due to lack of fitness?...This army don't know their priority, they keep goofing as usual..Instead of raising morale by providing adequate gurerrila warfare training and tactics, providing them with the best weapons money can buy, taking care of their welfare they are busy asking youths to Sprint a marathon distance like this will be of any use in battle..Last last some will faint or die and their fellow white fowls will say it's cos they aren't rugged enough...Shame

Warfare is won by tactics, Intel's and top notch weapons not by training to run 60km, swimming inside mud, planting pot, doing "hunches" or doing 20km frog jump. Boko Haram no dey do all this ones yet they are tactically better than the Nigerian army.

Sanu!! "Tactical genius". All your tactical ingenuity is worthless if you don't have the endurance/mental toughness to deploy your "tactics. You think it's all missions/terrains you use vehicles to launch abi? It will be interesting to see how you'll navigate sometimes almost 20km in full military kits in a thick jungle chasing bandits.
FYI Before recruits/officers pass out from Boot camps in the Israeli army they're made to undergo an all night march (90km) fully kitted similar thing is obtainable in the US military. Them no kuku Sabi wetin them dey do na!!!
You people think the military is an arm chair job.
