Lookman Ademola was a terror to Everton defense all evening... Add that guy to the mix, the Super Eagles might fly again

They were both tap-ins, nothing exciting yet. The Tosin chap in defense was much more significant... if he is a Nigerian.
He is, he has been cleared by FIFA last month, so he will be available for selection next international break. Adarabioyo has started in 20 of Fulham's last 21 games and has only been subbed off just once in those 20 games.

Great performance from Fulham last light.

I like the way Lukman , maja and lofty chick build up attach when on counter. The connect play is great.

If they continue like this, they will survive relegation.

Nice one Maja.

You do good or perform well outside. You are a Nigerian. You do bad or commit crime outside, your tribe will be traced and nailed by some thoughtless elements!

Good analysis.. I like the hunger and drive in Majas game, but week in week out, Lookmans energy is always there to help his team. Very young and very enegetically confident on the ball. Decent footballer, that Lookman.... Plays a bit like me in my heydays though I plough in more goals that he will ever do.. tongue tongue

He looks way out of form.
You think the serie A is that useless French league?

Since he joined Napoli, even before injury he has been a disappoint.
Lots of running up and down, lots of motion, but no result.
It's alarming when a midfielder has more goals than a striker and this was a player bought with loads of money.
He had better find his scoring boots, because that's what he was bought for,not being found defending and running up down both penalty boxes.
Hope he doesn't end up like Iheanacho the way he is going or bring loaned back to Lille because that would dent his status and future prospects.

There were 4 Nigerians on that pitch yesterday and three contributed directly to the first goal. Lookman to Aina, Aina to Maja and he scores. Tosin the fourth guy stood tall in defense.

You think the serie A is that useless French league?

They said he was going to compete with Ronaldo, Ibro, Lukaku and other established forwards in serie A for top scorers. That ws the same way they said he was going to give Neymar and Mbappe a run for their moneu in French league.

Yeah. And those are the kind of matches he should grab with both hands to dazzle because quite frankly Juventus could do with a better strike option to bolster the aging Ronaldo and average Morata. Well managed players mark certain matches in their calendars and do everything possible to peak when such curtains rise.

Better competitive option for Kelechi to improve and replacement for ighalo

Kelechi can never replace Ighalo, they keep forcing that role on him hence he's underachieving.
Ighalo is a pure No9, goal poacher like Yekini, Aiyegbemi etc.
The only 2 people suitable for 9 now are Osimhen when he's fit and Onuachu who's lethargic in Super Eagles.
Kelechis best position is Support striker where he picks lose balls with ease.

Tosin Adarabioyo is a full fledged Yoruba name.

So, he is definitely a Nigerian by birth.

Everton is a very useless team... The fact that United drew with them further validates the fact that United is certainly average and unfit to be champions.

Congrats to Maja. I wish him greater heights... More wins for all young and serious Nigerian footballers out there.

Did you realise they played a hot 5 - 4 with Tottenham in a game that dragged into extra time just few days earlier?

You can't play that kind of game and not flop now.

Even Tottenham collect 3 - 0 from Man City.

Some of you just criticize with immaturity, does it occur to you that he's new in that league, that the Italian league is most defensive league in Europe top 5 leagues, he's just returned to action after weeks of inactivity for other reasons.
We all have expectations for him to shine there but manage your expectations with wisdom.
He has been in 3 teams in the last 3 seasons, Lille grabbed him from Belgium when he really settle down and scoring and he hit the ground running in France. That season was cut short by Covid lockdown and then he was plucked up from Lille to Roma on a move again.
Football fans only think of results oblivious of constant mental, physical and psychological adjustments players have to make to adapt and perform to expectations in high level competitions.

You probably haven't been following those 2 teams you mentioned in recent times (Everton and Spurs)...

Everton has been on a steady decline for a good while now, Spurs have been unspeakably and shamefully mediocre since last year.

Spurs were always going to lose badly to Man City, whether or not they played mid-week. This was clear to any one keeping tabs on them.

Everton's loss yesterday was shocking solely in the scoreline and the fact that they barely put up a fight.

So please, don't bother trying to excuse both teams... They have been dwindling for a while now.
