Dollar Weakens As Bitcoin Almost Hit $50,000 by Katieify(op): 1:57pm On Feb 16, 2021
On Sunday, the digital currency almost hit $50,000 and just in the last few months it has more than doubled in value.
Investors have sent its price skyrocketing during the pandemic, as the Federal Reserve cut interest rates to near zero in March last year.
That move weakened the U.S Dollar.
More companies are starting to be open to the cryptocurrency.
Just last week, Tesla said it may soon accept it as payment for its cars.
And MasterCard announced it will support select cryptocurrencies this year, making it bitcoin’s most mainstream, major platform yet.

Do you think Bitcoin will hit $70,000?

Nigeria doesn't produce anything. The demand for the dollar is high here in Nigeria and the dependency on oil too is another problem.

The thing, is the fall of the dollar is suppose to reflect on naira. But naira is still losing to dollar despite. Even if dangote refinery starts working, the naira might not improve.
