A 10 year old boy by name Monday Omoruye who resides at Ring Road in Edo state was recently arrested by security operatives while on robbery operation, WonderTV media reports.

Speaking with WonderTV media correspondent, The boy said he was introduced into robbery by his brother and he has carried out four robbery operations so far. When asked where he got his weapons he said during the EndSARS protest, himself, his brother and some of their friends broke into Oba market police station and stole arms from the station.

Further speaking, Monday Omoruye said his brother taught him how to shoot pistol and so far he has killed two people at the course of robbery.

First the country failed In all ramifications. There should be a law on men who impregnate women to look after their children. Trust me, if we have such laws...many of these will stop. All dads must be made to sponsor their children. Till they are 18.

Do you not know that some parents know the criminal behaviour of their children and yet render their support? Some parents provide the finances and tools their children need to carry out criminal acts. His parents may be criminals too looking at his elder brother who taught him.

A thieving child practices at home and perfects his stealing behaviour if the parents do not act.

Things may be difficult in the country presently, but this is result of bad parenting. He may also be a product of a failed relationship along with his elder brother.

At my age I hate to see blood of injured people , and a little boy of 10yrs is proud to say that he has KILLED 2 people . God please help this generation.

This is child abuse. A 10 year old child you are calling an armed rubber. Someone that perhaps needs food, couseling and good parenting, make sure he is enrolled in school and keep him busy with after school programs. In fact, I am heart broken!
