Ibime:Looking back at it now, you're probably right... On paper it was an average team... But they were extremely solid, a well drilled side with a touch of the German efficiency... They knockout draws were also very favorable to them though knocking out S/Korea then was quite impressive |

popizaino:Mention any other team that has made the CL final before without winning their local league |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 11:04pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
NinjaMetahuman:Barcelona(No striker) Madrid(Benzema) City(Aguero) Bayern(Lewandoski), PSG(Icardi) all have relatively old strikers and they are looking, they are all very rich and some of them have a better chance of winning the CL than coming to drag with Werner, Grade B Kovacic, Foolishic, Giroud etc |

raumdeuter:Only someone who just checks stats will say this Neuville at 02 world cup.. He didn't get the goals but he worked very hard for the team, infact his presence was what allowed Klose to score as much as he did. The German may be have been weak on paper but they worked as a unit and were very clinical. Unfortunately the lack of quality manifested itself in the final against Brazil. |

Man City 10points clear at the top. So Guardiola is going to win the toughest and most competitive league in the world where anybody can beat anybody with an Escort as Dm. Who would have thought it was possible. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:10pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Melvyn11:In the words of Timbros, don't mention us till he matches the 97 or 99 points Fernandinho took them to. This is not the first time an escort will win EPL. |

kendrick93:Ibime warn this guy to stop yarning rubbish. I have been watching football for over 30yrs and have almost all these games in my memory He said Neuville presence was what made Klose to score Let us evaluate this statement Klose scored a hat trick vs Saudi Klose left the field to be substituted with Neuville, So how was Neuville who didnt meet Klose on the field helping him? Klose scored 1 vs Ireland, Neuville did not play a single minute. So how did he help Klose? Klose scored 1 vs Cameroun. Neuville was once again brought in as a sub for Klose. So they didnt meet on the field Bottom line Klose never scored a goal when Neuville was on the field So how did infact his (Neuvilles)presence was what allowed Klose to score as much as he did. Please respond and don't run away like you did when you were claiming the German player of the year was only for German Nationals Yours faithfully Ramdeuter |

kendrick93:Most of Klose goals came against Saudi. He was a nobody then. Infact he was never great but did well for Germany at World Cups. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 11:15pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Melvyn11:They dared him to come prove himself in the competitive EPL now he is 10points ahead |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:15pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Melvyn11:So he has taken Man City backwards from Fernandinho who preceded him? Effect of replacing a solid DM with an escort. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Melvyn11: 11:16pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Guardiola is about to win the league with an escort as Dm. That's an everlasting L. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Melvyn11: 11:17pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Ibime:So both teams under Rodri now and Fernadinho then are the Same? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by kendrick93(m): 11:17pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
raumdeuter:That's the problem with you... You talk football with one hand on Google, Wikipedia etc.. When i discuss football, it's based on my memory, and that game is like a long time ago so permit me if i'm missing some certain details... All I know is Neuville was very good at that world cup.. infact he's one of the German players i can remember vividly |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:19pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Melvyn11:Mention me when he match Fernandinho points total. You are responsible for your own conclusions cos nobody said City can't win PL. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 11:20pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
kendrick93:You are yarning rubbish because I follow Germany, Germany has always been my team and I remember all their games like it was played yesterday I will describe every goal Germany scored at every tournament from 1994 to you from memory easily So how does your claim that Neuvilles presence was what allowed Klose to score as much as he did. stand a basic fact check. How was Neuvilles presence helping Klose, when Klose never scored a single goal when Neuville was on the field? Only a google and wiki analyst will say Germany was clinical because they padded Saudi by 7 goals, After the Saudi game they played 6 other games and scored 6 goals |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Melvyn11: 11:21pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
Ibime:Once again I have no business with Fernadinho so that's your own business. All I care about is Guardiola winning the league with an escort as Dm. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:24pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
kendrick93:My memory on that World Cup aligns more with Raumdeuters own. I'm sure you watched that World Cup nice and well, but if your moniker of 1993 matches your birth year, then you may be lacking some context of the quality of those players that comes with knowing the players from club football before the World Cup. As a child, when a player shines in World Cup I automatically assumed he is one of the better players in the World eg Martin Dahlin in 1994 World Cup |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by kendrick93(m): 11:26pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
raumdeuter:A team can still be clinical even when scoring a goal every game. It all depends on the amount of chances that team creates and how much they convert. That German team were efficient and clinical when it mattered... The draws also played a major role in their surge to the final |

kendrick93:So are you taking back the yarn about Neuville helping Klose back as another of your usual fact lacking statement like the German footballer of the year and the Thiago being Bayerns best midfielder for 7yrs? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by raumdeuter: 11:32pm On Feb 17, 2021 |
kendrick93:Almost the price of Thiago, less than Naby Keita |

raumdeuter:In what world is 20m for thiago same as 'almost' 50m? And there's a clear difference from someone who has a blank chequebook and another who works under a specific budget. |
