Nairaland Is Very Slow by Nobody:
Who noticed that Nairaland has been very slow recently, the site takes long to load, it is frustrating logging in and also very frustrating clicking on pages, you can't submit your content and can't comment.

I believe the traffic on nairaland is too much, maybe now is the time for nairaland to increase its server space or get a better content delivery network provider.

I wanted to submit this small content and the site shows

Re: Nairaland Is Very Slow by Nobody: 9:07pm On Feb 18, 2021
Arrrrrrrh

The fastest way to access nairaland is through free basic. Download the free basic app, lunch it and scroll down to nairaland. Then you can continue, the problem with it is that you can't post pictures and some pictures won't load. Note few pix won't load.

It's works on Mtn and etisalat. To access it with airtel, you have to be on nairaland with either Mtn and or etisalat then switch your data to Airtel that's the way out .

Note it's free 2Omb ! Atleast you can save alot of data using the free mode, thanks.

and apart from this, nairaland as of today is the biggest agent of division and tribalists in Nigeria. If the country should experience full blown tribal war today, this site should bear the biggest blame.

Really very slow here, initially I thought it was poor network reception, but I realized it doesn't take upto a second for other websites to open. I wonder what the issue is. Dear Seun, please look into this. It's really frustrating using Nairaland lately.

PS: Before someone will say it's my phone or maybe my kind of data subscription, I use a Samsung phone and subscribe nothing less than 10gb weekly.

Maybe it is time Seun starts collecting subscription!

The ‘best’ problem I experience as the administrator of Nairaland is that sometimes, during peak periods, there’s so much traffic that my web server can’t keep up. This is very frustrating because it prevents further growth of the Nairaland Forum. After upgrading my hosting plan once, I’ve resorted to constant modification of the software behind the forum to make it fast enough to run under my current hosting plan.

I think depends on where you are accessing it from. Obviously, you are not going to find anything easy a crude society like Nigeria where almost everything is is a problem. The only thing that is not a problem there is the space, I love the space, especially in the village. It is a blank canvass that desperately needs creative hands and visionary minds.
