I don't know why recruitment will take one year plus. The entire process is haphazard. No word for months then interview tomorrow. Safe to say it's not a good place to work. Just that the job market is not friendly....

Deloitte IS a good place to work. I just think the virtual arrangement is making things more difficult. It's easier to coordinate stuff when people are physically present. And bear in mind that the HR team is trying to work across the different service lines as well (who are also busy with their regular work).
They should be a little more considerate to the applicants and let us know when to expect their response though, even if it's in December, at least we'll know how to plan our lives till then

Yeah, this is true. They currently don't go to the office now, so one can't imagine employing be staffs remotely, demanding.

I know someone that entered Graduate Trainee Deloitte UK in January. She applied in November and by nov/dec she did all the interviews and test and got in to the company in January but here it is taking years
