If you add westland,dagoretti north, langata..and remove Nairobi national park..and the forest..slums..you'll see high class part of Nairobi is huge..Karen alone is 45 sqkm.Accra city itself is mere 170.The greater accra is baby compared to Nairobi metro.Nairobi metro include huge part of new runda, two rivers, kiambu, tatu city name it.

This not best part of Nairobi..this the old CBD..but still we have planted trees.Most companies moved out of old cbd to upper hill,kilimani and westland from 1995.Those areas transformed from upper class residence to high rise. WHAT determine Nairobi development is zoning laws..once a change is made..say to allow high rises ..development will happen so fast.Upper hill recently was low rise high class residence and so was westland but the moment they allowed skyscrapers money moved in quickly .The big fight is on kilimani to relax floor height restrictions otherwise Chinese are on it..it small china already

Apart from maybe kangemi.
Some of westlands subdivisions:

Parklands
Kitisuru
Highridge
Kangemi
Kilimani
Lavington

All are World class and they cover 97.5km²..
