@bolded... That is exactly my thought. I was even shouting red card when the foul happened. When the ref went to VAR, I was almost certain it will be red.

Can you do a comparison of the style of play Kante excelled in with the said players and the style he is playing in at the moment.

In that match, he was good at ball recoveries but flop in every other aspects of ball usages. His inadequacy in usage of the ball will be his undoing with Tuchel and why he affected Kovacic and our midfield play.

Yeah i have watched it again. TAA convicted himself by raising that leg. It was unnecessary because DCL was already going down, but having raised it the ref should have given a penalty and a red card.
If however the ref was giving the penalty for the initial fall over TAA's body i don't agree with that one. If he was giving the penalty for the petulantly raised leg why was the red card not given as per the new rules?

Im not saying Kante is the problem neither Kovacic but both of them can not play together due similarity in their play; both are roamer, with that they miscalculate their position and this confusion is an advantage for opponent to always capitalize on. Those players you mentioned play differently from Kante.

Nadal owns French. Nole almost owns Aus. Nole is a bit better on the other surfaces but they are both more beatable at Wimbledon (surface) and US (end of year attrition and fatigue).

I know that. It is 20, 20, 18 right now. I have already taken it as a given that they will both pass Federer.

Djokovic is fitter but Nadal is 2 ahead right now and has a guaranteed annual. So Nole has to win multiples every year until he is about 36 for him to be sure of surpassing Nadal cos the Spaniard is likely to still add 2-3 French titles to his tally.
