darkwan:You guys are actually starving Nigerians. Nigerians are the only ones that I know that make much money but can't eat tha well, because of the obnoxious prices of food items.. Many dinner tables in this country go with no beef most nights! it's insane! Travel to other countries like China, Egypt, or Arab countries of almost the same size as Nigeria. , even most of our west African neighbors, you will see the remarkable difference in terms of the quantity of food a family on the same scale as a Nigerian family can consume in a day.. Here in this country, even when we have a bad harvest, nobody tries to offset that with imports. Like when there was no tomatoes and onions, people were forced to either buy exorbitantly or go hungry! No nation is run like that! People must eat! Inspite of having all the dams and irrigation done by the central government in the north, you still have to sell at the highest prices compared to anywhere in the world... Yet, you run your mouths while at it.. Go to the universities and see how students go hungry because angry herdsmen dictate prices of food stuffs in a country.. it's vicious and has to stop! |

htdot:I will personally send food items like tomatoes, paper, yams, garri, beans in trailers to the south myself if I have to,in benue where I come from it is an abomination to hodl food. Food is seen as nothing, so if y'all have to protect your selves then do it, don't relent because of food, kos food is nothing, if you chop am now you go still shit am now. Rubbish |

Southerners are a letdown to Agriculture when God blessed them with the Rain Forest where there is Water everywhere.Let there be permanent shortage of beef and everything else. How difficult is it to produce any vegetables? Hunger will be the beginning of wisdom! |

Nigeria is structured in a way that every part is important to each other. This country was planned well until greedy leaders came and turned our brothers keepers into brothers killers. Even though every region has all the resources needed to be self sufficient, we still need each other for one thing or the other. I have lived in all parts of Nigeria, and it pains me to see corupt greedy men spoil this country so. |

Onuoha1234:southerners are not a letdown to Agriculture, they farm a lot and that's one of the many reasons farmers are been attacked.. if southerners were not farming, will there be farmers to attack ![]() it is the buyer that does the threatening and not the seller.... when U.K and U.S want to sanction Nigeria, they stop buying crude oil from Nigeria... what you're seeing in the main post is called reverse psychology.. |

Officialgarri:Don't be an idiot! The north doesn't feed anyone. They simply sell their farm* produce to the south. *The fertilizer they use in their farms are heavily subsidized by the federal government(mostly taxpayers and oil money). Yet, their low-quality farm produce is still overpriced because of transportation. Whatever food that is coming from the north can be imported at a way cheaper price. But the government just want to help the unemployable terrorists in the north to make ends meet, and they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they decide not to do business with the south. |

Officialgarri:stay in one place and rear your cattle in ranches. Stop moving about from one place to another recklessly trampling and burning peoples farm! Come on will u get out of those places you blood sucking land grabbers. The cattle u rear is under 20m, yet u don't want other farmers and other people to breathe. Brazil that has >200m cattles, we rarely hear about herdsmen clashes. Why must Nigeria be different. Just Google search herdsmen clashes, 99% search results points to Fulani herdsmen in Nigeria. |

Good news. I have been begging us in the south to BOYCOTT COW MEAT so that the herdsmen killings will stop. If the initiative is coming from Miyeti Allah, I plead with southerners to support it so that the herdsmen will stay in the north for the killings, raping and kidnapping to end. Our people can’t fight them with bare hands, because the actual cattle owners who are the senators,Governors, their politicians and other rich men there are the ones that procure the AK 47 rifles for the herders to menace around,eg Gov Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State. SOUTHERNERS,EAT COW MEAT AND DIE. |

Rugaria:You got it...that's the unfortunate thing. Especially the evil buhari govt we have now! They make things easy for the north and difficult for the south. From dangote and bua etc. Remember how they closed the borders and only opened same for dangote and bua to cross!!!!! Same thing they studied and did concerning the crypto ban... All fed govt petroleum and maritime agencies like NNPC DPR PPMC PPPRA NIMASA NPA PTDF...,they are all headed by northerners, people who don't have a single oil and access to the ocean!!!! We south have taken enough shyyyt from these people,we should just declare ourselves free.... enough is just enough with these godforsaken ever backward retrogressive people we benefit absolutely nothing from |
