Cursed be anyone who gets paid to rig elections in this country, force evil leadership on us and is getting paid to defend evil in the media.

May they use all the money they are being paid to treat incurable disease that doctors cannot diagnose.

May the money they are being paid be used to pay ransom to release their kidnapped relations, spouses, children and parents.

As for those who are killing and kidnapping people in the country, may they lost their lives through fire accident and may terrible disease and afflictions locate them to the point that they will not remember to think about killing anyone else but will only think about how to recover their health.

May this be their portion and that of their accomplices.

May Nigeria and it's citizens be free from every evil and triumph gloriously this year and beyond.

This is written and so shall it be....Amen.

L'obatan. Investors would prefer cotonou to Nigeria any day. How are the mighty....

Exactly, they have to contend with the insecurity, very hostile environment, electrity, overtaxing. Foreign direct investment have been on the steady decline, where many are leaving the country to neighbouring African countries. It's a terrible something.

This is what you get when an illiterate-filled nation votes a clueless and biased fellow to lead it. Buhari is like a deadly insect's bite that is growing worse from negligence.

Hey, not to worry, Tinubu will continue the mission from wherever Buhari stops. How do I know this....? As long as illiterates are in the majority in Nigeria expect nothing less than narrow-minded, corruption-biased, and clueless leaders.

I have one solution to ending terrorism in Nigeria since Government and the military has failed Nigerians independently....We have Private Security Agencies, such as Eastern Security Network, Niger- Delta Militants etc, Government should pay any of these groups and empower them giving them go ahead order, I bet you before 48hours Shakau will be captured, Boko Haram will cease to exist, Banditry will stop, even western countries like the US Government do employ the services of Private Security Agencies to carry out some dogmatic jobs. These are the only group that understand terrorism better and can withstand the surge from Boko Haram compared to Nigerian Military, a case of using a thief to catch a thief...but like I always tell people Nigerian Government both past and present are all thieves, they are the greatest beneficiary of this terrorism escapades,so they should stop telling us they are seeking for funds to fight terrorism. Since 10years now that Nigeria Government is fighting terrorism, they have claimed to spend more than 1 trillion naira for the cause....just pay these private security agency 200billion, terrorism will be history in Nigeria.

The title should have been--"Canada warns her citizens to avoid non-essential visit to northern Nigeria"

Tho insecurity is everywhere but that in the north is indeed second to none

So you are still believing you are safe in your SW, SE or SS. You are day dreaming. Better go and buy your own AK 49 before we hear RIP.

I remember when I used to read something like this about other countries, wondering what they were doing till insecurity degenerated to that level… not knowing same will one day be heard from here too….
See what our once peaceful nation has now become.
This whole thing began in 2009… and grew worse by the day.
GOD save us!

A very poor history student.
There has NEVER been a time nigeria was peaceful. Do your history.
If it not religious riot, it’s niger delta, if not that it’s tiv vs jukun etc.
There has never been a year in nigeria without conflict/violence of magnanimous proportion happening somewhere.
Say e no dey sensationalized like today because of social media no mean say e no happen.
Government were controlling the news back then and most things were watered down to the rest of the populace unlike today when people can report what they see from their backyard.

What if after fighting, they become so power and the government couldn't control them and decided to fight the govt?? Remember the govt is not in charge of there organisation. So they can't sack or remove any of their leaders. What If they break into factions as seen during niger delta militant period. How will the govt contain that?? What if they leave their duties and start killing innocent and raping women, how can the govt fight back?? So you see, the govt just have to buckle up and fight these fight. Corruption is the only reason these boko haram and Fulani herdsmen still exist.

So they go to developing or underdeveloped nations to dump their goods or hire cheap labor to build their business in an environment with negligible business regulations.

And you did not give a tangible reason. Besides Canadians hardly own businesses in Nigeria, it's mostly the Chinese that go looking for cheap labour and dumping sites.
