Kenyans speak upper class British English. This due to settlement of mostly upper class Brits in Kenya. South Africans speak lower/middle/common class British English because Brits of all classes settled there in large numbers - so common English accent is more common in South Africa.

The reason is historical...
In fact, the East African Protectorate(Kenya) is claimed to have attracted more peers and members of the upper classes than other colonies (Nicholls 2005:57).

The difference - btw Southern Africa English and Kenya English - I'd say is heavy British accent in Southern Africa - while Kenyans try to remove all accents and pronounce words "right".

Nothing too serious to see here. Those are already tough words by any standards, even native speakers would struggle. But some people from the southernmost tip of the continent slay even the most straightforward words with their near alien accents.

I checked Kenya manufacturering is 18% to gdp in contrast to Ethiopia 20.3% in 2020

I started doubting this link when I realize Ghana wasn't ranked but saw countries like ivory cost Cameroon etc on the list
