I have a Nissan Note 2007 model with a diesel engine. When the engine refused to start,y mechanic bought another engine. Now I am told they can't find a brain box to work with the car.

You're not saying much. You mean the engine was changed because the car refused to start? Why is the brainbox to be changed?

please I have a problem with my opel astra h 2004, the car starts and idle fine, but it doesn't revv, no matter how hard i press down d throttle. rewire said it could be be throttle body (mouth) or the brainbox. After some checks, he said it is the brainbox, the car uses an electric throttle (throttleless). car shows no check engine light, it has been scanned and nothings shows up...
The rewire advised the following.
1. brainbox change
2. complete engine change with brainbox and
manual throttle
3. comvert electric throttle to manual and change brainbox.

I don't know what to do right now, car doesn't rev at all, so it can't move, help!

Change your mechanic , very simple .

Scanner not communicating with car doesn't mean bad brain box, it's possible the car was RHD from factory and during conversion to LHD, they bypassed the OBD link which is the gateway to the brainbox.

Explain not moving, does car start and idle but doesn't respond to throttle i.e when gear is engaged car just revs but no movement or

car doesn't even start when you kick it, which scenario is it?

I have a Nissan altima 2006... The car rolled to a stop while I was driving... I tried everything the car refused to start... I was was told the vehicle was not getting compression & my timing chain adjuster was bad after I was asked to purchase a new engine which I did.. The car still refused to start. A scanner was used to diagnose the problem... They said it was a brain box issue; now they've changed several brain box & just can't find any one compatible... The car just won't start.. Please I need assistance

What is the codes that was retrieve from scanner?

Pls I need help, I have a 2007 Honda Civic FD Car was in good condition until i experienced overheating which damaged the engine. I decided not to repair the engine so I got another engine the new engine looked very clean and all components intact and complete the technician that went with me confirmed that engine pressure is perfect, after installation engine refused to start an electrician was called who latter brought another ECU, the new ECU started the engine but the serial number is different from my stock ECU. The engine sound very bad, hesitant acceleration and misfire which I suspected to be a communication problem. I need a good Auto Electrician with ECU experience that can help correct this.
I read online that I need to get an ECU that is the same serial Number with my stock ECU, then use a good OBD11 programmer to Swap ECU and latter Copy My VIN to the new ECU. I need help with this

I will do one check for you, but you help with some info.
1) State the VIN for your Honda car
2) provide the pix of sticker on the initial ECU before replacement. The pix should show part number
3) provide same details for new ECU use to start the engine. The pix should show same info as stated in No 2.

I want to check if the new ECU is the right match for your car.
