Nigeria on Tuesday through the global Covax programme has taken delivery of its first COVID-19 vaccines, Igbere TV reports.

The agency in charge of the country's vaccination campaign did not say in its announcement when inoculations would begin, but the first doses are to be administered to frontline healthcare personnel.

The 3.92 million doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine is currently being received in Abuja.

The president and his cabinet members should take all. They should take them all. What a great country rule by unfortunate people!

Hope administration will be individualised and it will be efficacious because recent research findings shows otherwise.

The first doses are to be administered to frontline healthcare personnel.
That is how it was done in all sane societies abroad.

Unfortunately, some heady and stubborn youths have been playing with their lives since this virus started.
They have been shouting 'coronavirus is a scam.
There is nothing like CORONAVIRUS.'
We only pray it won't be their portion.

Meanwhile,
For some enemies of the states,
saying negative things about this vaccine already, as they remain negative to EVERYTHING everyday of their lives,
For the ones saying there is nothing like CORONAVIRUS,
We have this for your types...

Vaccine is a personal thing.
No one is forcing you to take it.
If you want it,
and want to protect your life and the lives of your love ones,
go for it , it is free.
If you don't want it,
No one is forcing you to receive it, or begging you to,
stay away from it.

How effective is this vaccine? It should be tested on those that approved it to come into the country.

Ok. It is noted.

It would be better if our leaders/politicians are the first set of people to take the vaccine openly before being administered on our frontline health personnel so that every citizen can see how effective the vaccines are on our leaders/politicians.

Therefore, our leaders/politicians need to lead by example in this regard.

Oya APC, FG,... count this as an achievement.
Sometimes I wonder what qualifies those folks in our Universities to be termed "Professors"

Nigerians! we always be parasitic in nature, action and all; always depending on other nations whereas we've got all it takes.

When I got a message that NAFDAC will certify the vaccine, I was perplexed, bewildered, shocked and surprised. naptu2, is it possible that NADFAC will certify the vaccine or just to add NAFDAC number?
