I still consider that fair deal even though the sellers are exploiting the current situation to hike price of the SIM cards. Over here, we pay far more for just owning a SIM card, even though we can obtain the SIM for free from the carrier, depending on the contract plan. In the USA phone usage is based mostly on contract, as such we are deprived of the kind of freedom and choice my fellow Nigerians at home have in choosing how to use their phones. I use AT&T, for instance. The SIM card was offered to me for free as part of the contract but the carrier charges about $30/mo for a plan that includes just 5GB of data. Naija is still better in some ways, guys.

This administration must always find a way to make things difficult for citizens. Sim card that crashed to buy one 100 naira, get one free for many years, this guys came and turned it to this.
The worst part of it is that the reason they gave to make things like this difficult for citizens, they haven't achieved. How many terrorists have they caught via Sim card registration and all? This is crazy. The terrorists are there living large, and you are using a useless policy to frustrate the lives of law abiding citizens

It will come to a time in this regime that your door might be knocked, gestapo style and you're being dragged out of your house and bundled into a waiting police vehicle for a comment like"I hate PMB/APC" which they will tag"hate speech" on social media
