Nigerians can even misappropriate funds given to them to better their lives. Government should not stop the grant. The youths should be trained on enterpreneurship before given the grant. And the businesses should be monitored and the enterpreneur mentored. Dashing out money in the name of grant is counter-productive.

O,how the dearth of investigative Journalism have gone with the Wind!.
For a Minister to say there was a GRANT Program for the Youth! Where and by Whom? How can we juggle Figures,yet Accountants and Bankers are looking ayan-yan,without a challenge to the Minister to produce evidence on why grants have to turn to loans or resolving-loan according to the Minister! Who and who collected what and what percentage of the Grants were allocated?
Let Nigerians have the breakdown as well as the Regions that benefited!
People are just playing with Nigerians Future!

Cutting off the head is never the cure for headache.
Most times politicians fill the names of their family members and political associates just to "chop government money." They'll then see it as national cake and not capital to start/grow a business.
There are youths with genuine and profitable business ideas that can make do with such grants, but will it reach them?
Let the right people get these grants and see what they can achieve with it.
