Those histories aren't as clear-cut as you make them out to be. For example, the Nupe are actually an offshoot of the Yoruba via Igala, and Ife Ooye (never conquered by the way) has always been the capital of Yoruba land.

The Nupe conquest of Oyo Ile was more in the nature of internecine warfare, note also the Nupe never ruled the rest of the Yoruba speaking areas, all they did was sack Oyo, which was promptly rebuilt further south.

The Ibos owned nothing worthy of conquest. They built no cities/kingdoms and possessed no great commercial centers until the white man showed up. Plus the Niger served as a most effective natural barrier against hostile incursions from the north.

Yorubas are not and have never been compared to the fulanis in military might. At the height of the Oyo empire which was the greatest empire in the history of yorubas, the Nupes who are a small tribe and till today ruled by the Fulanis attacked, burnt, pillaged, raped and plundered the capital of Oyo empire, sold most of its citizens to slavery and ruled the yorubas for close to a hundred years.
The Alaafin and his family fled like cowards to the emirate of Borgu where they where saved to letter come back 100 years later when the nupes allowed them back to rule.

You are under bitterness of illusion. There are so many history tales and books, you can choose the one that satisfies your illusion. Most of the fabricated stories after the death of Alaafin Abiodun and the collapse of Oyo empire that are written few years ago and toward the end of 19th century are for your foolish consumption.

The native doctors in Nupe (Tapa) should have told you how they got IFA Oracle. The history of how the Tapas brought Igunnuko to Yoruba land and also how Oshodi Tapa came to Lagos should have been a delightful story to you.

Alimi came to Ilorin as a Beggar seeking for shelter and survival at Ilorin. He didn't come as a Jihadist. Point of correction, Ilorin not Kwara.
The only place without an oba in kwara is Ilorin.
