Don’t know about patriotic though, cause Nigeria is not really a unified country.

However, I do strongly believe that with love for people, I would do my best to spur development.

There are still people who want to see a better Nigeria, or at least a better state or better local government area.

Africans has continuously shown that they are incapable of placing national interests above personal gains! U knw that! Especially given the fact that there's poverty, the root of the greediness is poverty! Those large salaries are meant to discourage grand corruption and massive looting by top officials as occurred in the past.

It is a necessary sacrifice in a money-mad population, to curtail public graft by granting officials enough to be very comfortable without getting tempted to loot or take bribes.

Experience has taught us that putting lowly-paid officials in charge of budgets worth millions or even billions of dollars, is CERTAIN to lead to massive corruption. We are all Nigerians. WE KNOW HOW WE ARE.

So what is YOUR solution, if not to pay them VERY WELL while clamping down on corruption?

It’s quite sad the way the country is being run. Senators are earning so much and getting paid without delay, but the govt been owing Doctors (houses officers) three months salary. Why won’t doctors japa to better countries.

NASS is cowardly that is why they cover up what they scoop from our sweat in the name of admin cost. We will find _FIVE HUNDRED BILLION NAIRA ANNUALLY if we take our money back.The moment is now.In addition NASS should reduced by ONE THIRD judging by the audit of performance of the 7th Republic.
