How the hell is rail way creating job compared to the job loses everyday because of the useless inflation and fuel price this current administration is bringing to the table.

Mr. Amachi did not do any visibility study when he took over transportation ministry, according to media and internal reports.

A day after Mr. Amachi was named minister and arrived at ministry of transportation, he announced that his agency will continue with light rail policy left over by Goodluck Jonathan administration.

Mr. Amachi is not a policy guy and doesn't know policy, period. He decided to continue light rail policy for two reasons. First, contracts from light rail projects will offer him a better chance to steal money and hide it overseas. And second, he simply lacked ideas to do something else as transportation minister.

So, keep your eyes open on Amachi because lying is part of the reasons he got transportation ministry job.

Amaechi is a bone head idiot, standard gauge is not only faster but it is design for standard containers to improve the the supply chain from ports to destination. Containers Goods can be easily transfer from ships to rail and from rail to lorry.

With that same loan you have to buy Chinese sold equipment.

I'm 100% sure these Nigerian hardworking railway construction workers don't collect imaginary paychecks and they don't put food on the table, pay school fees and rent with imaginary salaries..

I read the article, maybe you did not because the minister gave an estimate and projection regarding potential jobs and since we know that rail systems create growth in communities and localities along the tracks which means increased trade, increased movement of humans, goods and services, increase and improvement in productivity and even man-hour nit spent tied up in long traffic on top of access to human capital and mineral resources.

This is the general enabling climate transportation especial rail transportation creates and last time I checked, projecting growth and development based on opened new trade routes is not a crim, this is what flexibility studies do, they make projects and estimates.

They don't even have to tell you, this is basic common sense.

There's more to life than negativity, hatred and bitterness.

My point is that they should stop projecting imaginary jobs by projection statements.
That's how the same set of clueless people projected oil price, jobs and security promises before coming to the corridors of power and after 5yrs we are worse off.

Did security stopped or prevent the record-breaking 3 years construction of the Lagos Ibadan railway or the completion of the 30 years abandoned Warri Itakpe Railway or even the ongoing construction of thousands of Km roads across the country or the ongoing construction of the 2nd Niger Bridge?

You are just sad and bitter, progress and development make you sad, it gives you pain, it makes you cry and you just can not live with yourself, just admit it and stop spewing unintelligent nonsense.

Job creation via rail systems and infrastructure happens naturally, they don't have to explain this to you and If at your age they still have to lecture you how rail systems and infrastructure build-up create jobs, then you have serious personal issues.
