Yorubas were naked before 18th century until they had contact with fulani.

Of course Igbo land was never part of your trade network because we have nothing in common. If you are looking for Igbo trade network or have questions about their relationship with other ethnicities, Look towards Cameroon and Central Africa. This the reason why some of our culture is shared with people from that side like Ibibio, Efik, Ejeagham and Co. The only Nigerian people Ndigbo had visible contact with is Igodomigodo (ancient people of what is called Bini today and Esan). Esan even use and is still using our calendar system with the Igbo words (Eke, orie, Afọr and Nkwo)
You are just speculating. The only Nigerian tribe to have indigenous clothe production is Igbo.
Hausa had contact with the Muslim Arabs including Fulani in the late 10th century and accepted Islam in the 11th century. So they were clothed by the Arabs in the 11th century same with the kanuri. The only thing that followed suit was the establishment of Kano cloth production which later became one of the engine of the economy.
As for Yorubas, they were naked until 18th century when the fulani discovered and clothed them. Starting from Share, near Tsaragi.
