The way all these slay mamas were abusing the man for not recommending divorce over every act of cheating by the hubby was scary! What were they expecting? In traditional igbo society that Edochie defends vigorously, a woman divorcing her husband because of cheating is/was almost unheard of! It's the fact, deal with it! Heck! My Grand father married 3 wives! How can you be discussing cheating and loyalty under such 'convulated' marital environment!? Folks want to import western naunces here. Your hubby is seen with a woman, then run fiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaam to get a divorce! Essentially, irrespective of how family oriented and hardworking your hubby is, everything is nothing once he cheats! I find it hard processing that nonsense... If that is followed through in every relationship in this country, not sure if upto 30% willl survive!

Majority of people from that age group have dementia.


Also, I don't expect the philosophy he grew up to change overnight. We have grandparents like that. We just enable them and let peace thrive.
