That guy is obviously trolling and enjoying the attention you guys are giving him. He's obviously from Enugu state and we already know no Enugu man is happy about the ongoing Anambra Airport. Even Asaba is already panicking with their Airport and making moves to keep their airport running when the Anambra Airport launches. I already know Ndi Anambra as a matter of our pride will prefer to touch down on Anamba soil than either of those nearby airports! |

Mktinsight is an evil demonic owl. He went to the YouTube video of the Anambra international airport and screenshot some posts he made using his several handles. He thought he could confuse us. But I went to the same YouTube and got these posts that was made by sane decent people that are lovers of good development. Mktinsight go and tell your pay masters that you failed, that you met higher resistance. ![]()

The clown has busted his cover. Enugu airport won't find it easy because there would be sharp drop in passenger traffic, coupled with the facts that facilities in that airport are either old or obsolete. But I think Asaba airport will continue to thrive because the state has huge financial war chest to upgrade the airport to any level without calling on the FG, and again the Nollywood that has moved to Asaba-Onitsha axis. globemoney01: |

mktinsight:I'm an engineer also. and I must say, your estimation is very very wrong and off. first of all. you don't just estimate using steel beams because you may not know their length. Secondly, a 3000sqm building would mean that the building is a single floor 100 by 30 building. does that make sense to you? Considering the fact that the ramp accommodates 8 wide body aircrafts, then it should be about 500m or more in length. So the terminal length should be about 150m while the width should be about 50m. it also has three floors. So we have have 150*50*3 = 22500 sqm terminal. the actual total space shouldn't be far from this. |

Soludo has always talked about his contacts, our next agenda for him as governor would be to attract embassies to Anambra. We need to be self Sufficient. Obiano has brought court of appeal, airport, conference center, police zonal headquarters etc... The next governor should attract Embassies.. Enough of the capital flight to other states! |

globemoney01:Embassies? Do you for one minute think about the mental health of the evil night owl called mktinsight? The international airport is already taking him to suicidal path, now you are adding embassies. ![]()

I am very sure there were truck loads of chest beaters when that flyover was being construction..now it started cracking plus the denials and rebuttals. Lmao You chest beating energy should be chanelled towards building a standard airport with the right material that can stand the test of time. I will be back to ur state month end..make i go rest from this work first. |

How does the chest beating concern you? Is it your chest? You are not from Anambra but your envy and frustration will not allow you to face your useless backward state. Yes, Anambra international airport is gonna be the best and busiest in Nigeria aside Lagos international airport. Do you have any problem with that? Yes ,the flyovers in Anambra are beautiful and solid. You lots should stop crying over what we do here because it smacks of envy and frustration. [s] BossJamal:[/s] |
International Conference Center – ICC, AWKA The International Conference Center – ICC, was born out of the vision of His Excellency Chief (Dr.) Willie M. Obiano, in his zeal for accelerated infrastructure provisions across the Anambra State. The urban design task of the ICC - was to create an instantly recognizable landmark – an iconic structure - at the terminal point of the future extension of the Awka Millennium City axis. Thus, the ICC aims to represent the city’s vision of itself as a cosmopolitan city with excellent infrastructure. In other words, the new complex will not – as usual – simply occupy public space, but rather act as a basis for a new urban story, changing of ideas and for the construction of a prosperous future – legacy project. The Concept Model of the ICC The design is of ultra-modern international standards with a minimum seating capacity of 10,000 persons. The structure is to be provided with all the facilities and equipment necessary for international conferences, private parties, civic activities, and also would be capable of catering to many other functions such as indoor sports. The programs contained in the complex include, but not limited to, covered drop-off area, a grand entrance foyer with atrium space, sub-dividable grand auditorium/ballroom - arena, an exhibition hall/museum, meeting rooms, green room, storage spaces, restrooms and associated spaces. Included within the exhibition hall will be a workshop/seminar area for professionals that will be used periodically throughout the year. Features In general, the International Conference Center – ICC - project involves a design of a state-of-the-art International Conference Center with the following features: The site measuring 9 Ha is in the state capital- Awka Capital Territory - and lies along 2 major roads connecting Onitsha and Enugu; The protocol access and the executive parking area, service access, truck delivery and waste disposal route is located at the tail end of the site, thus freeing the front driveway to the entrances from transit traffic. The side main entrance from the ‘Old Road’ extends to a road on the opposite side, along the high tension line corresponding to the future developments, including the connection to the future ancillary 5-Star Hotel. The structure is iconic and is strategically sited. It is anchored in the mental landscape of the population and the international community, neighboring other notable developments and facilities such as the Awka Millennium City Estate, Prof, Dora Akunyili Women Development Center and Stanel World; The parking lot is nestled in center of manicured greenery and has capacity to accommodate over 1,200 vehicles; The exhibition hall and the main space – grand auditorium/ballroom - will be divided by movable partitions. Meeting rooms may also be made flexible by use of movable partitions to accommodate various number of persons in given groups Circulation and service -all mechanical/HVAC /electrical/IT service are to meet any code required fire safety and egress of the structure will be analyzed in conjunction with the designated programs; The proposed workshop/seminar facility for Professionals may occupy one area of the exhibition hall. The Benefits of the ICC The benefits of the International Conference Center – ICC - to Ndi-Anambra is immeasurable. There will be civic pride, hundreds of direct and indirect jobs created, international exposure/recognition and immense increase in the State’s IGR. The essence of the International Conference Center – ICC, Awka is highly underscored by the imminent availability of the Anambra State International Airport, the Second Niger Bridge and the dredging of the Onitsha Seaport for vibrant seaport operations in Anambra State. Arc. Michael M. Okonkwo Honorable Commissioner for Housing
don't tell me that red sheet on top is the roofing. If it is they have bleeped up the ICC just like the stadium. What happened to the original design. They can get profiles from alumax like the control tower and roof it. What is the point of building a structure like that to put up a village style roof. This is madness. Who is advising on all of this. This is just like the stadium were they should of just built stadia instead of building a pitch and put a tiny seat place and ruin the structure. |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by AlaIgboRepublic: 11:11am On Mar 18, 2021 |
mktinsight:You are right about conference centre. me personally I would of not built stadium and put that money in an international market like seen in Dubai. You don't seem happy about airport for some reason. I tell you this. Either you are not from anambra or you are but you have hatred towards obiano is the only reason. There is no living or dead individual from anambra who is not excited and believes anambra needs airport. This is beyond politics. When I critique its constructively and not about person and when obiano does well I praise him. He has done well with the airport! |

MI6Surveillance:The flyovers in Anambra are beautiful and solid break ur back bones there. Beautiful and solid but was in d news for something negative. A cracking flyover almost endangering lives and properties but it's beautiful and solid. Lmao Let me take that ur statement as a comical satire |
| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MI6Surveillance: 11:39am On Mar 18, 2021 |
Yes Anambra flyovers are beautiful and solid. It has been in use since it was constructed 5yrs ago. And even after the propaganda that it has issues, it is still in use. Why not use the energy you kept wasting here and focus on your backward state. Did Anambra take your state allocation? Why are you more concerned about a state that's not your state? This is pure envy and frustration. [s] BossJamal:[/s]

| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by hammerDK: 12:27pm On Mar 18, 2021 |
IT IS MY OPINION THAT THE AIRPORT IN UMUERI SHOULD FOCUS MORE ON THE BUSINESS SIDE OF AVIATION INDUSTRY AND ASPIRE TO HAVE ALL THE INDUSTRY THERE AT UMUERI. FROM SMALL BEGINING COMES GREAT THINGS. NOTHING IS POSSIBLE WITHOUT A CLEAR VISION. IF IT IS A CARGO AIRPORT MAINLY, BE CLEAR ON THAT. IF IT IS PASSENGER AIRPORT MAINLY, BE ALSO CLEAR ON THAT. THE MISSION OF THIS VENTURE MUST BE CLEAR FROM THE START. WATEVA U BUILD, MAKE IT WORLD CLASS, SO IT CAN SERVE THE ENTIRE SE AND BY EXTENSION, SS/SC REGION. |

| Re: Update on developments in Anambra state-photos by MysteryShopper: 12:39pm On Mar 18, 2021 |
osita76:Mktinsight is a bitter, demented, frustrated, hopeless person. He failed in life and because of that he wished everyone and everything fails. He is equally an envious non Anambran, he was sent here by his pay master that usually pay him 5k monthly to come and confuse us about the airport project. Initially, mktinsight thought this site was the airport construction site, but immediately pictures of the ongoing airport started coming out, he became more jittery, desperate, frustrated and suicidal. Mktinsight is a failure, he has been failing and will continue to fail. |
