Even Asaba is already panicking with their Airport and making moves to keep their airport running when the Anambra Airport launches. Mktinsight is an evil demonic owl. He went to the YouTube video of the Anambra international airport and screenshot some posts he made using his several handles. He thought he could confuse us. But I went to the same YouTube and got these posts that was made by sane decent people that are lovers of good development. Mktinsight go and tell your pay masters that you failed, that you met higher resistance.

The clown has busted his cover. Enugu airport won't find it easy because there would be sharp drop in passenger traffic, coupled with the facts that facilities in that airport are either old or obsolete. But I think Asaba airport will continue to thrive because the state has huge financial war chest to upgrade the airport to any level without calling on the FG, and again the Nollywood that has moved to Asaba-Onitsha axis.

How can a 3,000 sqm terminal building have 4 jet bridges or gates?

Again this is a mini terminal good for domestic flights. This are the sizes of international terminals in Nigeria :

MMIA - 48,000 Sqm with 8 bridges

Nnamdi Azikiwe Abuja - 48,000 sqm with 8 bridges

Port Harcourt - 28,000 sqm with 4 bridges

The new Enugu terminal being built by CEEC is roughly 25, 000 sqm with 4 bridges.

I'm an engineer also. and I must say, your estimation is very very wrong and off. first of all. you don't just estimate using steel beams because you may not know their length. Secondly, a 3000sqm building would mean that the building is a single floor 100 by 30 building. does that make sense to you?

Considering the fact that the ramp accommodates 8 wide body aircrafts, then it should be about 500m or more in length.So the terminal length should be about 150m while the width should be about 50m. it also has three floors.

So we have have 150*50*3 = 22500 sqm terminal. the actual total space shouldn't be far from this.

Anambra airport is the only Airport in Nigeria with, longer lifespan. 100years lifespan.
Anambra Airport will last for upto 100years B4 talking of major maintenance.

I hope they include at least 4 jet-bridges! If they do, that would mean the top floor would be for departures (together with the duty free shops) while the ground floor would be for arrivals. There would have to be a clear separation between the two for immigration and customs purposes.

It just occurred to me that it would be tricky using the same terminal building for both int’l and local flights, so maybe they are constructing another terminal for local flights. And we shouldn’t forget the cargo operations aspect too; that would require a whole different type of building...one that can handle cargo.

Obviously its either they re constructing just the local terminal building or just the cargo... But i don't see any warehouse

They can get profiles from alumax like the control tower and roof it. What is the point of building a structure like that to put up a village style roof. This is madness. The Conference Center is far more important than a stadia. It brings in professionals and investors which Anambra needs most. It will allow Anambra to host proper regional trade shows, national conferences, etc. The only problem with ANSG is they wasted time building an edifice instead of a functional building.

Akwa Ibom built a Munich style stadium that has been used less than 15 times in the past 8 years for national matches. It hasn't put Uyo on the map.

The FIFA goal project is good for development and ANSG should develop the site into a sports center and put other facilities in that land space for youth training and games.

You are right about conference centre. me personally I would of not built stadium and put that money in an international market like seen in Dubai.
