I am certainly going to move out and look for a relatively cheaper rent if my landlord decides to stick with his N1.5M house rent, i cannot be paying that. I even stopped using my car to go to the office for the major part of last year and nothing work. There is also funds for parents and maybe to assist siblings once in a while. Anyway my only plan this year is to setup a side hustle which i will train my wife on that can earn us something good this year.

I am serious there is no savings for the past 2 years now. All those budget thing doesn't work anymore it use to work 2 years ago. Although last year i spent over N2.5M to renew my licence due to high dollar rate. Now my rent of 2 bedroom which i normally pay N600K was just increased to N1.5M, Landlords are angry right now. although i am planning to move out in search of a cheaper one with no luck yet. So how do i now start drawing a budget. Of recent i keep drawing budget that never works. Let just face the reality on ground now N1M of today is same value of N100K 2 years ago.
