What is creating the desire for sex and masturbation?
It's lust.
Lust says I want that thing, love says I have all things.
Lust craves, it's an energy, it like gum in the mind.
Love haves. It's a gum that binds us to God and all good things of life.

This is why the Kingdom of God starts from asking for forgiveness of sins, believing God has forgiven you, walking and working with The Holy Spirit of God to change your thoughts, thinking, and confessions, become a new person free from the control of bad thoughts and feelings.


Having true love and joy in your heart elevates your soul above the control of lust.
Search the Scripture for verses on loving God, loving yourself, and loving people.
Love is the opposite of lust, the greater your word on love and joy through daily meditation, the lesser the power of lust through desire
1 John 4:8
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

The spirit of masturbation and sex will increase in power if you fuel it through corrupt films, nude pictures, corrupt sexual lusty songs, desiring sex, all any negative that can fuel your desire for sex, eg having a girlfriend who triggers your desire for sex.
Burn or delete all porn videos.
Loneliness, sadness, depression acts as a lock to pin down anyone in lust.

Check your life, some other things may be boosting your desire for the opposite sex. Nude pics on your phone, sexually arousing conversations, etc
If you can identify those energy sources, note them down and see how you can minimize or destroy them.
Films are serious culprits in this aspect.
You will be thinking �, Sebi it's not a blue film �, it's just a normal film. My dear, once you start enjoying nude scenes in any film, the reward will come when your cup of desire is full.

Some foods, drinks, or fruits can be triggering your desire for sex too, note them to control their intake.


Next, build up your spirit man to rise above the energy of lust in you.
To overcome the negatives in your mind, start fueling your mind with Scriptures upon Scriptures on Galatians 5:22,23 stating from the spirit of love.
Write out all the Scriptures you can find on love, then joy, because without joy, depression can override your meditation.

Your meditation should be like this, I am full of love, I love God, God loves me, I love people, I am a child of love.
I am full of joy, I am joyful, I mean personalize the Scriptures on love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faith, meekness, self-control, make them yours.
Write them out in your diary, cardboard, anywhere you can see them easily as a piece of paper to put in your pocket always.

Expose your soul to godly joyful music after your daily meditation. Joy lifts the spirit helping to free it from bad thoughts, and emotions.

Do these daily, you will realize that new power will start building up in you.
Keep at this meditation, by asking The Holy Spirit to help you build up your word bank. Increase the Words you meditate on daily.

The power of lust will start reducing, the power of love for God and joy will be increasing in you.
It's not something you can overcome or override in a month, you have to continue with the new habit of meditation daily to build up the power of God in you.
In case it overwhelms you again, ask for forgiveness from God, forgive yourself, check how it happened, there must be a fueling of lusty desire before it overwhelms you.
Note how it happened, so you can avoid it next time.

Learn to identify the source of lust, remove it or it will take over your mind.

The righteous man falls 7 times and gets up again to face his life.Prob24:16

As you consciously build the spirit of love and joy in you, lust and depressions will fade away.


So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west and his glory from the rising of the sun? When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift a standard against him.
Isaiah 59:19
Without the words in you, prayers are powerless in overcoming temptations.

It's the word you remember at the point of temptation that will save you.

Grow in the spirit, build up your spirit on every attribute in Galatian 5:22,23.
You will testify that you busted it.

For about 5 years now I've been battling extreme tiredness . Asides that I sleep alot most especially at afternoons. At night,nonce I sleep around 11pm and not going to work the next day, I can wake up by 10am or 11 am.

During afternoon and night sleeps, the sleep is usually very deep (REM phase or whatever you medics call it, please correct me) and usually characterized by heavy dreams.

Even during work, I'll always take the risk to create some time to have a little sleep. I've been battling this for about 5 years now. What could be wrong.

Let me add these points to other good suggestions

Your energy level could be very low,
A. Maybe you are staying and sleeping in a depressing environment or house. A place you don't like.

B.Do you feel pressed down on your head always?
Are you happy?
Lack of joy, negative emotions of sadness, fear, despair, etc can weight down your mind causing energy loss from your brain.
Watch out for anxiety, worry, they can be stealing the energy meant for your rest.
You can sleep but have no rest, so your subconscious mind keeps working in your dream.

Having thoughts of joy, believing you are joyful, playing music to liven your environment can increase your joy level.
Meditation can build up your mental muscles.


C. Are you eating too much of carbohydrates, fats and things heavy for your system to digest than vitamins, nutrients and proteins?
Fruits and eating light can help make your body light, when you eat heavy foods always they can make your body heavy and sleepy.
