Thanks for sharing this. Sometimes the small upgrades make a big difference depending on how you use your phone. |
Shawn29:quote author=Shawn29 post=135924056]With so much Ai tech innovations across multiple brands like samsung tecno, realme, Xiaomi and the likes. Great things are to be expected.
Indeed. |
Leilalee:The market competition is very tough right noww |
TemmyLyn:quote author=TemmyLyn post=135929961]We'll five years is quite short, there might not be so much difference. Maybe in 10 though
Yeah.... Definitely. |
TemmyLyn:quote author=TemmyLyn post=135929942]I never liked the fingerprint scanner on phone screen sha
Why? Any reason? |
Obviouslyblunt:I know right!?? I haven't even thought about it this way😅 |
Kim4Christ:quote author=Kim4Christ post=135919537]Honestly, smartphone technology is really evolving and advancing with amazing features
True😌 |
bioluwatinfe:True, they share similar features. I think what makes realmeC75x stand out is the military grade protection Yeah, it's very rugged. |
For ruggedity it's the realmeC75, spark 40 might handle games better, and realmeC75 has a long lasting battery. |
Praizee5:And many Nigerians didn't know about these brands but they have good products. |
Leilalee:Been seeing a lot of realme and Poco phones recently. |
So I’ve been thinking about how phone prices have gone through the roof lately. You see devices crossing 700–900k easily, sometimes even crossing 1 million. Some people say it’s worth it for the cameras, processors, and premium feel, while others feel it’s smarter to buy something midrange and upgrade more often. Personally, I’m somewhere in the middle. I’ve used some midrange phones that surprised me, brands like realme, Xiaomi and Tecno models under 300k deliver smooth performance, decent gaming, and optimal battery life. For example, the recent realme phones with 5000+mAh batteries and IP ratings are basically offering features that used to be exclusive to flagships a few years ago. At the same time though, there’s something about the smoothness of flagship devices you can’t deny. So I’m curious, Do you think spending over 500k on a phone is worth it in 2025? -Do flagship phones really last longer, or is it mostly hype? -Are midrange devices now “good enough” for most people especially with brands pushing specs higher every year? -Would you rather buy a cheaper phone and invest the rest elsewhere? -What features would actually justify a 500k+ price tag for you personally? |
There was a time I was always scared for my phone whenever it was raining. Not anymore though😌😌 |
For the specs I feel the C75x is better, the C75 just has a bigger battery. Correct me if I'm wrong. |
Great specs....Honestly, it’s nice to see a budget-friendly option that doesn’t compromise. |
Technology is evolving so fast, I wonder what we'll have in the next 10 to 15 years😅 |
Ohhh, they added more features to the C75x... Nice touch. |
Camon 40 should be on this list, it's more recent than the 30, the realmeC75 is more budget friendly though so I'd go for that if I'm on a budget. |
debopeola:I doubt there is, there are devices though with similar rugged protection. |
People are starting to take realme more seriously. Their devices are not only durable, but they look good and perform well. |
debopeola:Exactly!! |
Personally, if I'm financially stable I don't see any problem having an iPhone, I can still use it with my Android. It's just that people these days overrate iPhones. |
Felabrity:Of course you can, if you can afford it. |
The C75x feels like the tougher sibling. Both are good though. |
Hi guys, I was just thinking about how fast phones have evolved. Not so long ago, we were all hyped about fingerprint scanners finally moving to the screen, and fast charging going from 10W to 33W felt like magic. Now we have AI cameras, up to 120W charging, and even phones you can rinse under a tap without worry. It got me wondering......what do you think smartphones will look like in the next 5 years? Here are a few questions to kick things off: Will all phones eventually be foldable or rollable? Is there any chance we’ll stop using physical SIM cards completely? How far do you think battery tech will go—maybe a full week on one charge? Will most phones become fully waterproof by default? Do you think brands will keep removing accessories from the box? I’m honestly impressed how some brands are making flagship-level features more accessible. For example, I used to think high IP ratings and massive batteries were only for premium devices, but now you see models like realme with proper water resistance and long battery life at midrange prices. Personally, I feel like in the next few years, more brands will push AI-powered software—like automatic call summaries, real-time translation, and smart photo editing without needing extra apps. That could really change how we use our phones day to day. What are your predictions? Wild guesses are welcome. |
I've used oraimo products before and it served me well, I love this new one, cool design. |
