Can't they mandate all press releases from a particular agency be coming from a particular source? How can be many government agencies so useless like this that they can't manage anything well? This one will come, talk to his press friends and another one same but different messages? Are they ok? Too many ogas taking different decisions.

Everything is not about chochocho... Jamb gave a condition for underage students, and over 30,000 students tried their luck, some passed , some failed... Now , even though I support the age limit, I said they should not have allowed them to write the exams in the first place because the age is still tender. Are they going to refund now? Are you that daft to understand a simple point I am making?

They have not been scammed. Prior to this final decision, JAMB will be out of order to bar them. That's why JAMB inserted several conditions.

There's no guarantee that they will even be admitted. It's institutions that admit students, not JAMB.

For UNILAG, even if you like score 400 in JAMB, if you're not 16 and above, you can't even sit for UNILAG post UTME. FG is just catching up with UNILAG and that's probably because the current Minister of Education had first-hand experience of the benefits as he is an Akokite. University of Lagos(UNILAG), the University of First Choice, has been using age limits for decades!

I initially didn't want to get a UTME form for my son because he falls for that "underage" category after he finished his SSCE. After much deliberations and reading the conditions the jamb gave, I decided to test his knowledge and see may be he would do well. I have to even change his course of study from unilag to another private school, just in case because I know unilag won't give him admission with that age. But I have told him it's 50/50. He did well and scored 321, but I know it will be very tough because of change of policies. So his admission will not happen now, I guess. He will wait for next year and I will get SAT for him too. I still support the policies but they should have defined it from the beginning and not allow them to write the exams at all. I got admission around 20 years of age despite that it was tougher in our time. Private schools just came and scattered everything.

There have been stories from here and oversease of kids admitted to university at 14, 13, 12, and many of them may do well, but eventually emotionally crash at some point. Maturity is the issue.

The truth is, 16 is even too young self. At the end, kids have to be a bit mature to enter university. It's not secondary school. No one will give you notes, and no one will tell you ye must study.

I do agree very well, but some 20 years old students too behave like a teenageer. So it is vice versa. This supposed not be a debate at all. 16 years as an average is too young. It supposed to be around 18 years , which is fair enough.
But you don't blame them too.
When employers too are pegging maximum age for a particular job as 22, then it gives room for all these manipulations. Hope they will maintain this one.

What happend to those that they gave potential opportunities for: the underaged that must score above 320 in the last jamb? That means they have been scammed. Government and inconsistencies in their policies.

have you registered before now and access the site far before now? Use the number you used to register or access the site to open the site. Just buy data on the number- If that's the case though. Seems they are blocking other IP from accessing their site if you want to login except the one you used to register.

Many years ago, nearly same happened to me. I didn't want to use my place of work address. I used my uncle address in egbeda, Lagos while I was in island. Seems many desperate politicians that can't live their lives without being getting juicy money from government purse are the majority. When the time comes to choose the VP and the presidential candidates, if they choose atiku and obi (which happens to be formidable) respectively, that is when their true colours will come out. Best bet is for them to play a smart one against atiku because he believes no one is greater than him in that formation and will always get away with anything. Same with el rufai, but power play will still follow and many will be disappointed. Is it not Nigerian politicians? Very untrustworthy fellas.
Their method to win the next election will likely use students force and youths to instigate against the current regime and attack them in anywhere they campaign and to use their foot soldiers to destroy anything APC, but I don't think APC will release power easily like that. It will be master of all rigging and all of these collision will disintegrate easily if they fail. Then do they have matching money against APC that is in power.?
